This movie was interesting and was cute romantic comedy movie, with the previews it didn't seem like that.

What a pleasant surprise to have watched the "Safety Not guaranteed" video on blu-ray. Not only was I surprised by the visual quality, story, acting and special effects but it was totally absorbing and I had a great time viewing what is now on my list of 'must have' collectible videos. I did not have any idea what this movie was about but had 'borrowed' it from the Bucks County free Library for a 7 day period. After the initial viewing, I watched its 3 more times before I returned it to the library. When I found it was available at Best Buy at a reasonable price, I immediately bought it and it is now in my collection. It is the kind of movie you will watch over and over again. Totally enjoyable experience in every way, it never gets 'old' or 'boring' and the ending is uplifting to the soul. What a serendipitous find!

Saw a preview trailer and decided to give "Safety Not Guaranteed" a try and I am glad I did. I have lived in Seattle for the past few years and this helped to establish a bond with the movie/characters. It was simply a refreshing change of pace from the big budget Hollywood movies out there. Give it a chance and I think you'll enjoy it too.

I love this movie! Its not for everyone as it is kind of slow and doesn't really lead to anything but it is a good stay at home on a freezing day and cuddle kind of movie. Pull in your better half, snuggle up under a blanket next to the fire with some hot cocoa, and watch Safety Not Guaranteed.

I am a big fan of Jake Johnson because of New Girl and it was nice to seem him outside of the sitcom. His acting was great and on top of it all, so wasn't everyone else who starred in the movie.

This is a great story coupled with a very talented cast. Honest and relatable characters who each have their own journeys. The ending is by far the best part though.

Basically went into this movie expecting nothing and we were blown away by the story and acting. Very unique movie that is a nice change of pace from the usual.
