Where to begin? This box set is WONDERFUL. It comes with 2 Blu-Ray disks and 2 DVDs. It also comes with art cards that were released in the Japan only Japanese version (that came with two episodes on each disk). It also comes with a color book that has episode synopsis, character and setting design as well as interviews with the cast. Speaking of the cast, the new english voice acting cast is superb! The tones and ranges of the actors fit a lot better than the redub of the original 90's version. I hold them in high regard as I do the Japanese voice actors. The animators really took their time and retouched the animation. It looks more fluid and a little less all over the place than when it first aired in 2014. This box set only covers the Dark Kingdom Arc (episodes 1-14) and for those of you who don't know, Sailor Moon Crystal follows the plot of the original manga. So there are no filler episodes or Monster of the Day pacing... The universe needs to be saved and no one has time for that. I 100% Recommend this set to anyone who is a Sailor Moon fan.

Sailor Moon Crystal is awesome! It’s more condensed but no filler episodes. Animation is beautiful. Looking forward to movie(season 4)!!

With some issues plaguing Viz's release of Sailor Moon classic, I am very happy with their release for Sailor Moon crystal season one. The box is absolutely gorgeous, with an art book that has a lot of really nice artwork. Included in the set are also seven card stock images with each of the first seven Japanese covers. The video quality is absolutely gorgeous. There are a few rough spots here and there, but this is due to a few very minor issues with the Japanese masters. The new English dub cast also does a very good job. All in all, if you're a sailor moon fan I would definitely pick this up.

I grew up watching the 90's dub and fell in love with Sailor Moon. I've been watching the Viz dub and am in love with the packaging. The packaging on Crystal is just as amazing! The box is beautiful and I could sit and look at it almost all day! While I'm still partial to the original series and dub, I enjoyed Crystal and am excited to see Sailor Moon in the more accurate to the manga version! Beautiful characters, but really lacks the expression from the original.

the packaging is great!!! the extras are also great!!! now to the actual series.... compared to the 90's one i think is not at the same level....the animation i rather go with the 90's this looks at times computer 3D which is not what Japanese animation got me used to, however i really enjoy this new sailor moon crystal a little faster and more more true to the manga, i really enjoyed it and would really recommend i think it is a solid anniversary "remake" pretty enjoyable

Excellent, beautiful series. This reboot of a classic series is well warranted. The series may have a few animation issues at first but it truly picks up and is a fine start to the series. The packaging to the is set is amazing. Comes with nice post cards and a sturdy box with beautiful box art. The english cast is a little off at times but is still watchable and enjoyable.

I love the Sailor Moon Franchise and this was a purchase to add to my collection. This is the newest of the SM animation with different voices and stays a bit more true to the original Manga. I try not to rank the different "releases" as they are all going to be very different. Overall, I bought this as I am a collector and wanted all of the versions available.

Sailor Moon Crystal is such an amazing series I had to get it for myself was really excited for this Limited Edition set! The picture is great and you can watch it in either English dubs or Japanese subs. The extra art booklet is absolutely gorgeous and has so much content, I love admiring the artwork. This is a must have for any true Sailor Moon fan!

I watched the original Sailor Moon series when I was in high school so as soon as I heard they were rebooting the series I was in. This is definitely not a disappointment. The animation is great, and the story follows the original manga but still pays respect to the original anime. I would highly recommend this to any Sailor Moon fan.

This is not the sanitized American version from years ago. This is the real Japanese version (rated TV14). Not the way to start your kid into Sailor Moon, but you will find it enjoyable. You can watch it in Japanese with subtitles or English dubbed.

Great story from the start. This is my daughters first time watching Sailor Moon and she loves it. The episodes introduces all of the guardians and it's easy to follow. I recommend to all who loves anime and to those new to it as well.

If you loved the Sailor Moon show from the 90s you'll love this more. The animation is much more modern, excellent voice acting. It also seems to follow the manga more closely.

The Crystal series follows the Japanese Manga more faithfully than the series that was on in the 90s. The characters are still familiar but the show has a more serious tone. Highly recommended for anyone who is a fan of Sailor Moon.

This anime is a remake of the 90's Sailor Moon series. However, this one is closer to the manga than the original. The only thing I have a problem with is the CGI with animation on their transformations. Overall, i love it!

Sailor Moon Crystal encompasses the first 3 seasons of the American Version of Sailor Moon. It is a must have for any Anime fan. If you loved the show when it aired in the 90's, you'll absolutely love this updated version!

I got this for my gf who is super into Sailor Moon and she loves it! Comes with great mini-Poster cards of all the girls, nice bluray box set and more. Very happy with purchase!

Love the return of this classic anime and in such lovely packaging! Looks great on the shelf, and the added bonus material is great. I love the art cards and the art booklet with interviews.

This product has a great artbook. I'd imagine if it were double the size then it'd easily be about 20$ for the artbook alone. Somewhat fragile though. The rest is awesome too.

If you loved the original anime and like remakes I'd get this for sure. I watched them all on Hulu but I couldn't pass up getting a physical copy of the show.

Although some of the CG scene are a little wonky, the overall feel of the series does a great job at capturing the original manga very well.
