This is just a great series in general, I grew up with the show. They re-dubbed the English version to match more of the original Japanese version. Which I feel is nice. The box comes in is very attractive, and has a little book with sailor moon info, pictures, episode overviews for us anime nerds. This is a great set for younger audiences as well.

This is my favorite season of sailor moon. In this season you’re introduced to the outer senshi (Uranus, Neptune, Saturn n Pluto)

This series introduces three new sailor guardians one ally and two questionable ones. With this set you get 18 episodes with a nice book and a nice artbox that holds both sets of the first season. The video is 4:3 aspect ratio and not the 16:9 remastered that the japanese version will be have in the coming months. All and all if youre a fan and want to see the series uncut then this is a must buy.

This is personlally one of my favorite season of sailor moon, Stars being the other, and thankfully the transfer is better this time around. as always with the limited editions you get a lovely and sturdy box that will hold both volumes and a book that has a nice assortment of pictures, charaters, plot points. A no brainer if you're a fan of the series my only gripe is that this stuff is taking too long to come out, I want my stars box set!!

Viz Media continues to knock it out of the park with these box sets. The picture quality is top notch, and the box artwork is absolutely gorgeous. The new dub is also far superior over the original release. (I was not a fan of the voice changes for season 3). I highly recommend getting the special edition. The bonus art book is beautiful, and it includes extra room to fit part 2.

Viz Media is awesome and lame at the same time. There is no reason to get this over the DVDs unless you want the scratch resistant blurays for longevity. Whatever transfers Viz media uses are terrible. This is my first Bluray set of the original Sailor Moon series as Ive been collecting on DVD. I was hoping for a cleaner sharper image as I thought the compression and YouTube like picture artifacting flaws were due to the lower quality DVD format. Man I was wrong and your paying full season price for half of a season. Granted you are getting the DVDs as well but, if you wanted those they sell those seperatley. I will say I enjoy the dual language, packaging extras, dub and storyline but, after witnessing the Cowboy Bebop whole series on Bluray Remastered at a cheaper price Viz Media(Not Best Buy as they aren't the ones setting the suggested retail price) are coming off as greedy and charging the ridiculous retro anime prices of the 80's & early 90's when anime was a underground thing where you have to go to a specialty store. I still enjoy collecting these but, would be lying to you if I thought the price for what you get is reasonable considering the Bluray picture quality is almost identical except for slightly more vibrant colors than the DVDs.

These episodes have been released before, but this new version has been updated and improved. The blu-ray features sharper colors, and the dubbing has been completely re-done with closer attention to the original Japanese when translated into English. Definitely worth the trouble to pick this up.

if you are a true sailor moon fan this is a must to add to your collection without paying excessive prices like we used to for single dvds that contained only like 5 episodes this is the real deal!!!

This is a redub of the show that aired in the 90s. This version is uncut which is good and the voice acting is much better. I kind of miss the old opening and closing though.

While the masters are 20 years old and some visual issues are to be expected, the subbing and dubbing is much improved over Pioneer'/Genesis efforts of 2002-3

had issues with the first one I had purchased with a small defect once opened but I had no problem exchanging it for one that was perfect!

I have been a fan of Sailor Moon since the original airing back in 1995. This is a must have for all the Sailor Moon fans out there!

Love that they are redubbing the show and being true to the sailor moon universe. Happy to visit a world of my childhood once again

I was very excited to pick up this series in its original form, with a fantastic English dub, and extras from convention visits.

Video remastering quality is good. Box set materials had some added goods. Great buy, good to see Haruka and Michiru again.

Sailor moon is amazing and this set is about as good as anyone could ask for. Not a whole lot of bonus but still worth it.

One of my favorite shows when I was a kid. If you want the uncensored uncut version of your childhood, totally recommend!

I have been buying all new remastered blu ray collections. Love that they are remastering and re-releasing this series.

Never really saw the show as a kid and mostly saw the films, but I have to say it’s a pretty fun show to watch.
