Ok - I know that NOTHING is ever as I remember it, but so far - though I still enjoy the show - I have been nothing but irked by the new English dubbing and few dialogue changes. I realize I am not an anime 'purist' but, dangit, the main character should have remained "Serena" in English when not Sailor Moon, NOT Usagi. When she transforms the addition (or restoring) of "Make Up!" to the end of "Moon Prism Power" is ridiculous and jarring. Tuxedo Mask in civilian form referring to "Usagi" as "Bun Head" instead of "Meatball Head" is loathsome (the latter makes MUCH more sense). Though I know that she is "The Pretty Guardian," its restoration to her announcement before she faces the enemy ("I am the Pretty Guardian, Sailor Moon! And in the name of the moon, I will punish you." or whatever) makes this even more clumsy than she herself is. The new voice actors are much higher pitched and more whiny - which I realize Serena is, anyway - but it makes Luna & Serena less authoritative and less powerful. And I hope (Oh I hope!) that the original 90's song & lyrics comes back instead of the restored nonsensical lyrics of what we currently have. Sad to say, in my opinion of course, there were some great corrections made (though, yes, a few flaws (I look forward to the restored episodes!)) when this was first introduced to the American audience. Bring back the 90's Sailor Moon with all of the original voice talent and dialogue/names, but with restored episodes! But this...this I will continue to watch and hope it gets better! Who knows...maybe I myself will change, too. I'm only on Episode 3. However...as a review/recommendation (thanks for reading to the end and enduring my rants!), here's what I offer: If you're looking for nostalgia of a great TV show from the 90's - prepare to be challenged. If you're interested in watching something similar in a new way (and apparently more faithful to the original Japanese Anime), go for it! It's still Sailor Moon, after all! :)

I love this dvd set. Not only is it beautifully cleaned up in picture, color, and sound, but it also has well translated English subtitles with original Japanese audio AND an all new, uncut English dubbed audio. Love it!

What a way to remember you childhood with this awesome collection! Its hard to find anime from the 80's & 90's in English, and this one is completely translated! What a treat!

i love this series from my childhood. glad to see it available in dvd. quality is decent, considering the series is from the early 1990s.

I loved watching Sailor Moon as a kid and now that I can own it on DVD I get to relive all the funny moments that the show had.
