    We bought this for a Christmas gift, so hasn't been opened yet. But we saw this movie on a public TV station and it is one of the best war movies we've ever seen. It was intense, heart moving, and so real to life.

    I was urged to rent this movie by a friend and fell in love with it! The subtext of the plot (albeit, the "message") adds so much more depth and intensifies the war between good and evil. I recommend it for anyone interested in WWII history and well-told stories of the war.

    This movie is one of 4 or 5 movies that have actually made me cry at the end. It is a very touching movie and I personaly liked it as much as Saving Private Ryan.
