Every. Single. Time. It's a good example of how suspence, imagery and pacing when done right will always be scarier than gore and splatter,

Gothic Horror Film - The Best!

The creature is truly horrific and James Mason is superlative (as always) in his role as the creature's caretaker. Don't miss this truly scary horror movie - they don't make them like this any more so don't miss it. Best Buys' price was great.

For a made for TV movie, it was scary and good

Through the years, I've heard friends and people on the Internet say how scary it was when they first watched it. Well, when I saw that it was on sale for a 4k, I had to buy it. The picture quality is great and as well as the sound. Tobe Hooper directed a very creepy movie, indeed. Especially for a made for television movie.
