Great movie. How can you not like a beautiful woman who shows compassion and warmth while kicking some serious butt. I mean she's beating on everyone. It's spy versus spy, US against the Russians. It's a thrill ride without a ton of gore. People get mostly dead and there's a high body count, but it's fun. And the cast is top notch.

I haven't always wanted everyone of the Steelbooks that I saw, but, for the two for $10 sale, I definitely took advantage once I saw that they were five bucks a piece. Their great steelbooks in general, and they come with digital copies that can be used for your ultraviolet library. I highly recommend buying them if you are a true collector, and fan of the films that Best Buy is selling in a steelbook format.

Good action but truly just an American actress pretending to be Russian spy.

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and really enjoyed watching it and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

I like this movie. The first time I saw it, I was excited by the twist in the film and I was hoping to see a sequel. Sure, they showed Jolie as an expert in Waif-Fu but the intrigue and plot was wonderful. Has a more ironic tinge to the movie considering today's issues. Would recommend to anyone that wanted to see a different take on the spy genre.

Really enjoyed this movie. Plot keeps you guessing and the pace of the movie is perfect. For a new movie I expected solid PQ and happy to say it was very good. Personaly I thought the AQ was a step above again. Plenty of work for all speakers. For those looking for a movie with plenty of action, but a plot to keep you thinking, then you will enjoy Salt.

Although I enjoyed the movie. I kept getting taken out of the narrative because Angelina Jolie is not really a terrific action/spy thriller actress. I just kept seeing her as an actress, instead as the spy it was running around trying to do good. But the scripting is good, the acting for the most part is good, and the action sequences are workable.

So many crazy plot twisting well at least in the beginning. Angelina Jolie's acting as well as all cast members is ON POINT. The scenary and fast paced filming together bring a beautiful package together. NO SPOILERS but you want to make sure you have a great audio setup to really get the full immersion.

This film was mainly overlooked when it was released, but it's quite a good action/thriller. Hollywood has not had much luck creating Action Films with female leads, but Angelina Jolie turns in a solid performance with this tight script. It's not perfect but it's entertaining -- it's a shame it wasn't more of a commercial success.

I think that "Salt" was one of the greatest spy/action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that this film had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal/political storylines as well.

I didn't expect much from Salt, but I left the theater pleasantly surprised and it still holds up upon second viewing (and it looks good on Blu-ray). That said, the most important part of this product is the steelbook and it is a pretty good-looking steelbook and definitely worth picking up for fellow steelbook collector's.

I'm not typically an Angelina Jolie fan, but she does an amazing job in this film, and and number of twists and turns in this movie keep you guessing the entire time! Amazing movie - and would strongly recommend!

It's rare you get a good, if not GREAT, action film featuring a woman, thanks to A.Jolie and 'SALT', you get both. Strong supporting cast, including Liev Schreiber. Complex spy thriller, that allows for audience intelligence without sacrificing gunplay, or cerebral moments. Recommended: Director's Cut on DVD.

great action film with a thick psychological under plot. In my opinion one of angelinas best action films ever. Its not the typical super heroine type. its a darker psyche with a patriotic element. you dont know whether she is good or bad til the end. The special edition casing for best buy is very cool.

Got this movie in a $5 bin, and I remembered the trailers on tv when it was in the movies. So I took a chance... decent movie, has a few twists, but it's no Jason Bourne, which is what I think this movie was set out to do. Still, I'll keep it in my library to watch another time.

What amazes me most about Sony and Columbia pictures is that their older movies look astonishing clear for being in the vault for some time. Salt is no exception. I admit there are times where the movie does not look as clear as it sometimes does , but it still looks pretty darn good.

first time buying a steel book edition of a movie. It's kind of cool to get a nice metal case rather than those cheap flimsy blu ray case. I remember watching this movie a long time ago and thought it was good, so got this to add to my collection and to watch it again later.

This movie is easily forgotten if you did not know about it. Angelina Jolie did a great job in this movie , especially compared to Wanted. I picked this up during a buy one get one on Blu Ray and it even came in a specialized Blu Ray cover art, a Best Buy exclusive.

What's great is you get 3 different versions, at100 minutes for theatrical, 101 for extended cut and 104 the director's unrated cut. Excellent special features and without giving any thing away, most people will enjoy this action thriller.
