This Mic is about half the price of their higher end products and has the same capabilities of the next tier. I would have given 5-stars but the premium software advertised on the box is not included and is not easily found. You have to Google for the link. Once that was done, I needed to set the mic balance off center to eliminate an annoying baffling to the sound when using the directional feature. Now it's super clear and I don't worry about background noise bleeding into my conferences. At less than $40, it's better choice than the competition. (Blue)

I use this for recording my guitar and banjo practice. Sensitivity and quality are excellent. The connection in the back is very handy for connecting speaker output. The built in stand is great for just sitting on a desk or hanging on the front of my laptop.

The configuration of this microphone is a real challenge. I have their noise cancelling software installed on a Windows 7 PC and something is continually adjusting the sensitivity levels, and is causing the levels to clip. If I can figure out how to stop this adjustment, I might recommend it’s purchase to others.

Easy setup as advertised. People I talk with never complain about voice quality and even with servers running behind me, background noise is low.

I use this microphone during Streaming online Sermons from our Church each Sunday. It syncs perfectly with the vMix Production Software I use (2 camera set), has great volume control as well as equalizer and sound reduction via USB plugged directly into the computer Win10. Zero installation issues, it is a simple plug and play. Easy and couldn't be the price..

This Samson mic is a great addition to any PC to enhance the voice quality and range for online chat or speech recognition.

This mike is great for recording my guitar and banjo picking without including ambient noise around the house. Nice builtin stand and connections for power and external speakers. Plugs into my external USB port strip so I don't have extra connections to unplug when I want to grab the laptop and go.

Bought this mic so I can talk with cortana better and use the microphone setting on my computer. Sometimes if its loud it cant pick up when you say something but normally it picks up your voice.

Great sound quailty good from far away no echo sounds good

I've had great experiences with Samson XLS balanced-audio microphones for home studio recording and didn't hesitate to grab this little beauty for my desktop. The pair of matched mic capsules allows the included software to reject noise outside of the straight-ahead speaker. It's ideal for teleconferencing and works so well, that I'm also able to use it for voice-dictation or YouTube and podcasts without the muss and fuss of pro-audio grade interfaces. It's small, discrete and plugs straight into the nearest USB digital port.

This Mic is great and has a good range on it but picks up a lot of background noise. The only other issue is the Mic can be a little low, so you may need to boost the Mic.

This microphone sounds great compared to others I have used, but tends to clip easier than I would expect during a normal conversation.

After trying a number of different cheap low quality microphones to use with my PC, I discovered the Samson brand BBY. This mic provides a great addition to a PC for voice recognition and internet voice applications like skype. The range is pretty good under certain environmental conditions so I am pleased overall, especially after getting it on sale for 50% off.

This mic is easy to use, small, easy to mount, and works well.

Good quality and recordings sound great. Its small and light so its easy to travel with.

This was the first Samson mic I've purchased and it is an excellent little bit of equipment. I've used it for podcasts, Skype, and even some film narration. Despite being so small, the noise-cancelling is stellar. Filters out everything, leaving a nice and clean sound. And for much less than one would think. Absolutely a great buy,

This is a super good microphone and with an attachment meethod to the monitor which is brilliant and yet simple. I am so glad I went for this microphone. Typically, you get what you pay for in most cases. And yes, this is a more pricey microphone vs most other standard microphones for the mass market. But it is worth it.

As long as you are speaking directly into the mic this is a very good microphone. I used it for a very large report and avoided typing by using speech to text. I next tried to use during a presentation for my online attendees. As long as a stayed very very close to the mic it was okay. However, when I switched to the microphone built into my laptop my clients were happier.

I bought it for in-game chat clients. Not the main purpose of this mic, but my friends report clear quality, and the settings allow it to block sounds from the computer speakers. It has a cool light that turns red when it peaks. Little expensive for an in-game chat mic, but I don't regret buying it
