I love this Mic, everyone I Skype or Team Speak, or Citrix with comments "Hey did you change something, a new mic or whatever? Because you sound way clearer than before..." The only flaw is that it does not have a place to screw it into a mic stand, not on the device, or it's desk cradle. This leads to the mic picking up a lot of background noise and me having to lean forward to be heard over the noise from behind sometimes (usually when my dogs are being noisy) I rigged up a mic stand to hold it, but it would have been much easier if the device had the standard threaded connector to make the connection. TLDR Version: It's a great sounding Mic, but be prepared to sort out how to get the mic exactly where you need it.

You want a product that performs the way you expect and for the reason you purchase. This mic is great for my wife as she has been taking post-graduate coarse work and needed for multi- person conferencing. Great sound quality easy of use and magnetic base helps keep the mic in place and easy to keep together.

Bought this to make audio/video recordings. Set-up was easy depending on which recording program was used. Responses from listeners of the audio said quality was excellent. However, had to be careful as it is very, very sensitive. When first using it, on playback was able to hear a slight humming in the background. Then realized the mike was picking up the computer's CPU; so had to devise situation where the microphone was not resting on or near anything that also had an electronic or mechanical device also on it such as a desktop.

Great quality microphone at a good price. You just plug this in to your computer using the USB port and use the music software to edit files. The only downside is the cord is short so you have to record close to your computer

I bought the Samson Meteorite microphone when I needed the ability to record narration for a film I was assembling. I had little time to get this completed so I needed something fairly easy to operate and dependable. The microphone performed superbly on both counts. I was able to create clear narration very quickly. I will be using it on other upcoming projects.

Purchased the Meterorite USB microphone to use with my Dragon Speak software program. The microphone was an excellent choice for this as it is made for music so picks up subtle differences that a regular microphone is not as well equipped for. The Meteroite microphone is also very portable.

The sound quality on my son's school computer is not great. In order to make better voiceovers for school movie projects, we bought this mic. The sound quality was excellent--really better than what we needed. The mic was really easy to use. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants better sound quality than a built in mic can give!

Having owned this microphone for a month or so, I can attest to the quality bump over an inbuilt microphone. I mainly use it for Skype and some amateur voice recording, but nothing too serious. In other words, I think this is one of the best microphones for the common consumer. The quality is phenomenal when compared any laptop's built in mic and even many of this mics competitors. Overall, I think Samson was very successful in making a high quality microphone that both looks and performs extremely well for the price.

I wasn't sure which microphone I should buy. I do a lot of online gaming and I needed something that would pick up my voice but not any background noise from my games so my clan mates could hear me clearly. After making a few adjustments on windows it has performed excellently. Would recommend to anyone who is looking to buy one.

Great microphone for the price point. Easy to use and the magnetic base makes it easy to adjust the direction. Works well on a desk or table but not if you need something taller.

When I looked at the packaging it led me to believe that this was a wireless microphone. That was the exact reason I got it because of the great price and it was wireless. However it is not and the mic is good quality only when very close to your mouth.

Pros: -Works great. The base and bottom of microphone have a magnet that keeps the mic from falling out -Its "hot". Really hot. The mic can pick up my laptop's fan if on the same surface as it (though my laptops fan is louder than most). I usually have it set on minimum sensitivity just because it will pick up any and every noise. If I strum my fingers on the table lightly, you can hear it in the playback. -Playback. This is a standard feature for most mics nowadays but it is still a pro. If I have a headset on, I can now hear myself through the mic (this way I dont yell). This has to be turned on manually in the settings, but is easily found. Cons: -May be a bit too sensetive for normal functions (skype, RaidCall, etc). I have mine set 2 feet from my laptop and off to the side but even at that length they can hear me perfectly.

very useful if you are a first time youtuber not that good if you are planing on using an instrument with it

I use this for Voice commands for my computer and doing voice ovwr for videos. Samsung is a great company and I highly recommend this microphone. It has had no feedback whatsoever.

It is an excellent microphone. I am using it in my office. It is nice because of its magnetic base and price. I recommend it.

I have tried a lot of microphones and next to the Yeti Blue mike this is the best one I have found.
