    This works exactly as intended and basically eliminates any noises that would otherwise be picked up by a desktop microphone when tapping or bumping the table its on.

    I have several Q2U microphones that I use on a daily basis. Their included microphone stand is pretty terrible, so I ordered several of the relatively inexpensive desk mount arms with a shock mount. The included shock mounts do NOT fit the Q2U, unless you wrap the microphone in multiple layers of tape or do some DIY stuff. This shock mount is made by Samson for the Q2U, so it works perfectly. No more noise when I move the mic around and no ugly tape. I like that they give you extra bands in the box. It adjusts 180-degrees so you can angle it correctly.

    This holds the very robust Samson Q2U microphone in place as expected. Bonus points for Samson including a replacement set of rubber bands in the box.
