I'm not a big traveler, I bought this to replace my wife's travel bag for toiletries as the zipper on her old bag broke. it was $50 and a Christmas gift, so I figured I'd splurge, but I don't see why it cost so much - I guess it's the name Samsonite on it? again I don't travel a lot, maybe it is a good value to someone, but to me it's overpriced
