The product is easy to use. The strap to the luggage works well and is less likely to damage your luggage. The scale uses a manual reset dial. If you pick up the luggage too fast, a false reading may occur. It would have been nice to have a scale that goes to 100 lbs. so that the device can be used for to weigh other things, multipurpose.

The scale works okay, and it has an acceptable accuracy (5%). Nevertheless, it does not always hold the max. weight level. I know, it's an analog scale. Nevertheless, it should hold the highest reading, and sometimes it does not. For the below 3 bugs price, it's a great scale!

No instructions may leave you guessing as to what the knob is for. A little bit of search on 'Google' should do it. It is handy, light-weight, easy to stow away and folds easily.

I purchased the scale because me and my wife have been vacationing and flying out of the country a couple if times a year. She loves to carry her entire closet and I always get hit with overweight charges. I tried the scale for the last trip. She didn't pack all of her stuff and surprisingly for me I didn't pack as usual my self because apparently our luggage was over the limit. It didn't seem right until we checked in our luggage at the airport, our bags weight in at 27# and 31#, scale was off by about 25# on each bag. I checked the calibration of the scale twice and made sure it started at 0#, regardless to say I had to hear about it from my wife for the whole 8 days that we were out of town. Safe your money and spend it in something else.

got it on sale, portable , small in size, can be easily carried in a bag.

Though I have not used this product yet, but it looks good and I hope it should be able to weigh my travel bags that I use in International Travel. I do not like the grip though, but will try to manage!

I was very disappointed with this product. When I tried to use it the metal triangle that connects the scale to the strap that holds the item being weighed actually bent when I tried to weigh a 45 pound piece of luggage! In addition the scale does not appear to be accurate-- it registered different weights on successive attempts to weigh the same piece of luggage. I threw the scale away and bought a digital scale from Sharper Image at the airport.

We are moving from New York to California and are shipping quite a few boxes. We needed a scale to weigh the boxes. I found this nifty gadget at Best Buy for only 2.99. We brought it home and were able to quickly and very accurately weigh all 8 boxes and get them shipped out immediately. For traveling I would say a tool like this is a must have.

I bought this scale to ensure that my luggage was not too heavy to travel to Europe. Luckily I borrowed a friends digital scale because this one was 5 to 10 pounds off in either direction. I calibrated it several times but never could get a consistant weight. I quickly disposed of it.

Very useful tool to check with accuracy the weight of your luggage.

The scale off by at least 5-8 lbs and this make a significant difference when you are flying. I would not recommend it it even for measuring an estimate weight

Got this on sale, needed one for business travel to make sure my baggage is under the weight limit. Haven't actually used it for real yet, I've been packing light lol But price wise was a great deal and it seems to be durable

Piece of garbage, just never buy it. Aweful product, doesnt give an accurate weight, ver bad.

Although the "connector" to the luggage strap is not capable of handling the weight listed, I was able to modify the part to accept more weight. For the price, still a good buy.

I always hold my bags and stand on a scale to check weight, but there usually is no scale for the return trip. Now I have this.

Incorrect given by this item - it shows diff weight of he same item every time.

Just an OK product .... no great but not bad. It is too big if you want to take it on the trip with you

Perfect scale for the job, it was on sale, does not weigh much and is accurate.

In my travels this has most certainly more than paid for itself for the over weight charges that I would have been charged if I would have had this scale with me.
