So i have owned this microwave for a couple months it works great but my problem with it is that the wire harness that goes to the door got pinched because of the design and now it will not work and geek squad can't fix it until quarantine is over

This has so many smart cooking features. You can cook/back/air fry pretty much anything.

Bought this microwave as a replacement for a unit that lasted only 2 years. Took time to research several brands and models and found the Samsung had good reviews, multiple features, attractive look and a reasonable price. No problems so far, easy toe use and installed with no issues.

This product has several benefits over our previous microwave ovens. First, it is very quiet in operation. It is big enough to hold large casseroles and high enough to accommodate the lids. The display is bright enough to see in kitchen lighting. But the main benefit is ease of operation. Samsung's display walks you through some of the more complex issues. When defrosting, for example, it lets you select the type of food and its weight with prompts in English.

When our oven went kaput, we decided on a Samsung oven/range. We figured we may as well update our microwave too. Samsung is where it's at! The convection is a game changer! This unit is spacious, sleek and performs well. The slim fry option is terrific because I have 2 little ones who love French fries. There are some unnecessary buttons on the front for cooking options-maybe one day I'll use them.

had to exchange the first one due to dents from shipping an a loud noise it made. But the second one is awesome! So quiet (even the convection option). The first time you run the convection it smells like it's burning. But it only does it the one time. Cooks perfectly! Has tons of options! Absolutely love this microwave!!!!

Love this Samsung microwave, features are super easy to use and the convection feature makes it that much better. It's slightly awkward to install and a bit heavy so make sure you have a helper rather than doing it yourself like I did...first and last time I will install an over the range microwave again...

So far. So good. We've had this unit for about a month. It is in heavy use for a small business. We have used both the microwave and the convection. It does not seem as powerful as our old microwave (Maytag-16 years old). But, it seems to do the job. Still getting used to it. PROS: Nice look to it. The handle seems sturdy. It is nice that it can vent to the back or to the front. So, if we moved, we could take it with us. CONS: The supplies that came with it do not seem overly helpful. There is a secondary rack for convection. It really is too tall to put anything on it. Darn... It does take a post-doc degree to figure out all the controls, etc. There is a LOT you can do!

So right out of the box we had issues. We installed this microwave ourselves. Had to cut a small hole in the adjacent cabinet because of our kitchens' design. After all that trouble it did not cook as a microwave but it would work as a convection oven. The Best Buy store wanted us to uninstall it and bring it to the store for an exchange which was unacceptable to me given the work that it took to get it on the wall. Fortunately Samsung took care of the issue for us and sent a repair person who was just fine. It was a simple repair of some wires that were not soldered correctly. It was frustrating but in the end my problem was taken care of. At first I was a bit frustrated by the booklet and chart that comes with the microwave for every different scenario of pre-prepared and reheated food however we do not do much of this. It took me awhile to just figure out how to manually use all the different settings. It works great as a microwave it works fine as a convection oven I am not 100% sold on the slim fry option as I do not feel that my frozen fried items are coming out crunchy and cooked thoroughly. There is definitely a learning curve with this microwave which I did not expect

Great microwave! Fit in our over-the-range spot just fine, though heavy! We were able to download the manual from the internet since it was missing. Easy enough to operate for those who don't read the manual. It will be fun exploring its many options, including the convection oven aspects.

This microwave is perfect. It can operate as a convection oven it can bake and roast. It will also look great next to your other stainless steel appliances. The space inside is huge. This is definitely a great buy.

This microwave looks great and works great. Loads of features and very easy to use. Unit comes with a few extra cooking accessories. Easy to clean inside and out. Bakes and roasts items easley. Well worth te money.

My old over the range microwave died, and decided to upgrade to a convection/microwave range oven. So glad I purchased this one. Didn't even have to change out wall bracket, the old one fit, and the holes for mounting were the same. Did have to modify where the electric cord exited, since mine was through the back wall, but was an easy job with a set of tin snips and screw driver. Cooking wise, love it, use the convection oven more than the microwave. Fries, nice and crispy, steaks, chicken, roast beef, cooked to perfection. Loving that I now have two heated ovens, and can cook multiple items when needed. Microwave seems to cook stronger than my old micro, which was rated and 1000 watts. The Samsung has more feature than I thought I'd ever use, but the more I use this oven, the more I appreciate everything the Samsung can do. Awesome, awesome oven, so glad I got this one. Being a chef by trade, it is most appreciated.

Nicely sized and powerful, the Samsung 1.7 cubic foot Convection Over-the-Range Microwave reduces the time it takes to bake, brown, and prepare home-cooked and pre-packaged meals. The convection oven is a beautiful addition to any home kitchen that needs either an extra baking oven or doesn't wish to heat the main oven for small meals. An unexpected additional feature turns this oven into an air-fryer, which makes fast work of cooking crispy frozen french fries, onion rings, or any other food that would be ordinarily deep-fried. The microwave allows the use of aluminum foil during cooking to protect areas of food from being overheated and burned. The unit included a two-level rotating metal rack for cooking multiple meals at the same time.

To start off with this great appliance it has everything. I have used this microwave for baking when I need to bake something small I use it instead of the oven. The results are great. As well as frying fries they come out freaking good. It is a great investment.

Love the combo function. EZ to install. Weird and hard to remember functions and settings. Like, cook ‘frozen croquettes.’ I think they tried to make it smart and easy to use and the result was odd and hard to remember which settings to push. To cook a package of bacon crispy, you have to push a few buttons to to get to the ‘uncooked bacon’ then the max serving is 3 so then cook it twice on that and once on the 2 serving setting. Who cooks 1-3 servings of bacon??? Lol! Don’t get me wrong, the cook is amazing, but the user interface is not.

The microwave is fantastic in its appearance, size, and usability. It's sleek, sexy, and user friendly. I took a star away for 2 reasons, 1) the noise it makes when heating in convection mode. It's surprisingly loud. 2) for being an over the range microwave, the venting system is horrible. Anytime I cook on the stove top, even with the vent on high, a large amount of condensation collects on the front of the microwave from the steam of the food below.
