Was pleasantly surprised to find that the surfaces are fingerprint resistant...very satisfied with that. The only other minor complaint is that it is a little louder than expected; not terrible, just a little loud.

I replaced a 2016 model that died which looks almost identical but it didn't have as many fan control features for some reason. This is losing a star because the mounting had been changed on the top from an older version which was super annoying, I specifically purchased another Samsung in the hopes it would be the same since it's basically the same microwave in all other respects. It was kinda annoying to re-drill and find the right measurements and avoid the original holes. I template paper would have been super helpful. So yeah fine device for now but beware it doesn't match on the mounting from previous models.

I bought it specifically because it doesn't have quick starts for the first few numbers (so you can just press however many seconds you want vs. having the numbers be preset options.)

My first one stopped working apparently because I didn't turn on the fan while canning and the hot steam for extended time damaged it. NOT making that mistake with this one.

The door is a bit harder to open* than my old one. This might be a very good thing if you have small children who you don't want to use the microwave without you being present. They will probably need help opening the door. *I have to pull harder to open the door.

We recommend ensuring that the door seals are clean and that the door closes properly. Be careful when cleaning the door seals to avoid accumulating particles that may prevent the door from closing correctly. For more details, please check the link in your user manual. Turn to page 19, titled "Cleaning the Door and Door Seals."

It would begin running when you opened the door. I bought this to replace it. After installing it (along with a hired handyman) and we peeled off the plastic sheet covering the controls, the face of the controls looked like it had melted. So much for quality control. I then had to run to Best Buy for a replacement while my handyman was sitting in my home. We have had issues with our Samsung fridge and stove as well.
