No problems yet despite a flurry of negative reviews on this model. Our son-in-law installed it in a few hours. It is actually quite easy to operate as a microwave. I have noticed it can take a bit longer than our old one to"cook" foods. When our old microwave bit the dust ( the magnetron went ) we decided to get a new microwave, and took this chance to add in a convection option. I have been reading more and more about possible issues with microwave cooking and I will not use it to boil water or soups, or anything I can easily do on the stovetop. I am looking forward to using the convection system. I will update the review when we have had more experience with this model.

Only con so far is having to read the manual or quick start guide to figure out the best method to cook things, but even that is kinda fun. If you have a small kitchen (as I do), and don't have room for a microwave AND a toaster oven AND an air fryer AND a double oven, then this is the microwave for you. It doesn't outperform any of those extra appliances, but it does an adequate job at replicating them.

Love this microwave/convection oven. So easy to program. Nice and quiet. Easy to clean. No complaints so far!

Nice convection microwave. Cooks fast and thoroughly. Not terribly impressed with the broiling feature. Prepared some sweet potato fries using the slim fry feature and they turned out too limp.

Easy to use. The convention oven is a big plus not having to heat up your oven.

I've only owned this microwave for 2 months and haven't had the chance to use all the functions. My old Whirpool microwave lasted for 10 years and it was great. The only reason I purchase a new one was because I upgraded my kitchen to all stainless steel appliance. One thing I do not like is the interior. It's too dark, even with the interior light. The exterior cooking range lights are LED which are not as bright as my old lights on my Whirlpool. Otherwise, It does what it's supposed to do.

I love the slim fry feature the best. It reheats my food perfectly. I used my regular baking pans with no problems, the oven didn't spark or smoked either. It's loaded with program options and easy to set.

Replaced an older Sharp microwave/convection oven. Have used often since installation and am very happy. Came with metal pan and three different size racks. Slightly higher power so have had to adjust cooking and heating times and everything works smoothly. Very happy .

Like it a lot. Nice options. DIY installation was a nightmare. It is very heavy (~80lb), template is impossible to use unless you glue it to something else. You need at least two people to mount it. Check depth of your cabinets if you do not want it to stick out (about 2" in my case)

We bought this since our old microwave just stopped working. It has a great baking option that saves me time and keeps me from turning on my oven which makes baking easy. I love the stainless steel look and it looks great installed

Love all of the features that it has, not that difficult to understand.

I had to have custom cabinetry done in order to accommodate the oven, as I did not have a unit previously in it's place. After installing the unit we found that the unit was faulty. After 30 seconds of being started, the display would show an error code EA1. It turns out that this particular error code is listed no where within Samsung nor the internet search engines. After speaking with Samsung directly, it was determined that the unit needed serviced. I always purchase black tie protection, however, it was not needed because the unit could be exchanged still *This is however a length wait for a new delivery date. Ugh, anyways.. The new unit works just fine. One thing that has not set with us well are some minor details. - The input panel needs to constantly be wiped clean of fingerprints. - The turn dial makes it not possible to enter specific times like 3:35. - It take multiple presses to turn off the fan or light when they are on high or medium. Other than that, it seems to be an average Convection/Microwave Oven and nothing in particular stands out for us. We have used the Slim Fry feature on potato hash rounds, and they did come out crispy, which was a nice new feature to us.

So many amazing features and attachments that I doubt I'll use every day! Reliable and very quiet and fits a 9x13 pan.

This microwave is great. The auto settings for cooking the different foods is nice. And the convection oven comes in handy when making a big meal. It was easy to install and looks great.

The Slim Fry feature worked great. Still learning the features. It was nice they included a quick referrence card. The Lights on underside should be brighter. Popcorn comes out perfect.

The idea of cooking a steak in a "microwave" is absurd. However, the first night we had this microwave, my wife and I did just that! We seasoned some NY Steaks and followed the instructions for the microwave. DELICIOUS!!! Obviously, we used the oven settings of this microwave rather than nuking it. Still... as a microwave, this works great! Beyond a microwave, it works great! Easily the best money you can spend on a kitchen appliance since it will even do toast (saving that counter space from a toaster oven!)
