    I had to return the GE because I couldn't make out the numbers on the control panel. It was much too dark. This Samsung is a little better, but still not easy to read the control panel. Both microwaves were great, but when you can't read them properly it is very discouraging.

    We chose this microwave as a mid-level cost to match our other Samsung appliances. It looks great and is quite functional. We like the settings available and my favorite part is the high/low option on the light above the stove. We love the dark interior and have been pleased with the overall performance so far. It is "loud" as other reviewers commented, but I don't feel it's excessively louder than any other microwave.

  • Replaced an old Samsung Microwave with a new Samsu

    The old Samsung was a very good microwave and lasted almost 10 years. We replaced it with the newerr version of then same Samsung microwave and it has worked flawlessly in the 2 weeks we have had it. The numbers and LED are brighter than the old one. I certainly believe it will last at least as long as the old one. Also, the installer (I can't do that stuff anymore) was very good and did an excellent job.

    Good sized interior. The rack can be helpful to warm multiple plates at the same time, though warming times are increased quite a bit. The vents move air well but don't seem particularly powerful. I like the option to set a timer on the overhead light so it can be used as a nightlight.
