    Owned this for 1yr 8 months and it stopped heating up . i talked to Samsung reps and i have to pay for a tech and any parts needed. so basically im buying parts for something i can buy brand new . this microwave is not worth it .

    I failed to measure the height from the cabinet to the backsplash before buying this, and I had to return it because it didn't fit. I express no view on how well the microwave works - just a reminder to measure before you buy!

    We are satisfied with the Microwave, but not on how we received it. This was an open box item and new this at the time we purchased it. Because it was purchased during COVID restrictions, the item was placed in the back of the car, without us inspecting it. The item was bubble wrapped very well, it did not come in the original box - just the bubble wrap. Upon unpacking the item at home, several items were missing: the mounting screws, instructions and the rack that goes into the microwave. Additionally the door to the microwave is not lined up properly - although it does close.

    I purchased this model November 2018 from Best Buy and one month after it was installed the unit stopped heating. Samsung sent a third party repair company out to fix the unit. Now after only four months the microwave has stopped heating again. I’m currently waiting on the second repair tech to fix the unit. It seems to be an issue with this model. Save yourself the aggravation and purchase something other than a Samsung. Don't be like me and think that the one you purchase will be ok!

    I bought this microwave as part of a package deal. I had it 13mo, 1mo after warranty expired, and it quit working. It would've cost more to have it worked on than it would cost to buy new. Sadly disappointed considering the cost of the item.

    Touchpad takes a heavy touch, sometimes needing to repeat several times. Sometimes won’t work at all. Interior is too dark. Interior light is very dime. Surface light is good & design is nice, Would not repurchase.

    The item that I received was different than the one that the store had on display. The two interior circle holes (one in the top and one in the right side) were covered with a single cardboard, rather than a plate.

    Looked good , however with in 3months it started to crack by the handle. Then weeks later the handle broke off. I was so mad because we didn’t insured it. We had one for almost 10yrs same make and model but different color. we decided to get a new one to match our appliances and it worked great. But the bam! We get a new one and the handle breaks off. I don’t know maybe it was our luck to get a bad one.

    Turntable broke right after warranty ended

    The turntable of this broke after a mere 54 weeks of use. I wouldn't recommend it due to this issue. Because it was more than a year, they don't cover it.

    Intermittent heating problems

    The microwave started to malfunction 8 months into ownership. A repairman came out to fix but said it was working fine. It was at the time. Then after a month or two is 30 to do the same thing all over again so I called a repairman out to fix it again. He said the same thing as the first repair man but also added that the problem may be intermittent. He also stated he was not allowed to visit because there was no problem other than maybe intermittent. Then after about 3 months it stopped heating completely.

    My original Samsung microwave broke within a year so this is the replacement. It wasn't covered under warranty because I purchased over a year ago when my house was under construction and it broke within 9 months!

    Bought an entire Samsung kitchen suite. This microwave had to be replaced under warranty in Feb 2019 due to it burning a hole through the inside of the door window and was growing and I had to fight with Samsung to get it covered. Fast forward to 2020 and now the replacement unit will not heat and is out of warranty. Samsung wants to charge $250 just in labor to fix it and that doesn't include parts. Not worth the money and would not recommend at all. Disappointed the microwave lasted just over a year.

    Died in 18 months

    I purchased the microwave in July 2019. It died in December 2020. I placed a some food to reheat and I began to smell burning. I knew it could not be the food as I just placed it in the microwave. It was a burnt electrical smell. I open the door and smoke comes pouring out of it. After clearing out the smoke, I tried to see if would still heat up things. Nothing. Timer runs but doesn't heat up anything. A junk product. You should expect something to last longer than 1.5 years.

    Got this at a ridiculously low price for an open-box. It's not bad but the touchpad is very annoying - it requires pushing really hard on the panel. If it weren't for the VERY low price I would have returned it,

    2yrs old and won't heat food up anymore

    I purchased this 2 years ago and it already stopped working. Does not heat food anymore at all so. I called Samsung and they want to charge me $190 to send a tech and if the part that broke is under warranty they will replace it but if not I have to cover the part too. brand new I paid $239. Makes no sense to fix it when I could just buy a new one. Maybe that what they want me to do?

    did not work out of Box, found defect report in box (this was open box purchase). Returned and got new replacement. after installing new replacement door alignment was off.

    I'm not impressed with this microwave. It takes over 4 minutes to pop corn and frozen dinners need extra time beyond what is shown in the directions. The only thing this is good for is warming things.
