    Part broke during installation. Have not yet used the microwave. My opinion might change when I get to use the microwave. Samsung customer service was no help. I might return the oven.

    This product is dangerous. When you are boiling water or cooking something on the stove that produces steam, do not use the microwave! Whenever we tried to operate it, it would first give us a shock, then the internal parts started to produce smoke and fumes that made my family choke. We had to turn it off and disconnect, not usable. Sorry Samsung, love your products but this one has a serious flaw, please fix or take off the market.

    Only 1000 watt. A lot of items I’ve noticed that are used in the microwave require a 1100 or 1200 watt . Yes you can adjust the cooking time but it’s a hassle

    This microwave looks great but you have to push the buttons hard to enter numbers. Cooking is average. My 13 year old microwave worked better

    Very disappointed

    Loud vibration noise when running 3+ minutes. Samsung sent a rep three weeks later to look at it. Was told it was an installation problem. Installer looked at it and said no. It sounds like an internal fan. Called Samsung again on Friday. Was told an engineer would call me with 24 hours. Now 72 hours later I still haven't heard anything. Called again today and am waiting for a callback. Very frustrating.

    We bought our microwave with a full Samsung kitchen suite Nov 2018. The first microwave became defective when it started burning a hole through the door window and the unit was found defective and had to be replaced in Feb 2019. The second unit lasted about a year and a half and now will not heat at all. I would not recommend buying a Samsung appliance. If you do, buy an extended warranty as you will need it.

    Thought this would be quality since it is Samsung. I don't ask for much. I literally just need it to heat food and tell time. It heats ok, but the clock runs slow and has to be reset repeatedly. So it doesn't do fifty perce n of the things I bought it for. I could tell time better withna sundial. Haven't tried the other functions but wouldn't be shocked if they didn't work either. Overpriced and poor quality.

      Hi Josh! Samsung recommends that the microwave be plugged into it's own dedicated circuit. If it is not, it can actually cause the clock to lose or gain time over time. ^Jecca Samsung

    I had other microwaves in mind when I walked into the store, but this was the only one they had in Stock. I'm glad I bought it! This is a very stylish microwave. Looks sleek above my stove. The good: Looks Ceramic inside, makes for easy cleaning, also darker so it doesn't show everything. 4 speed fan, 1st speed is quiet, 4th speed is fairly loud, but nothing to bad considering its moving upwards of 400 CFM! Bright clock and it's blue! Cons: Finger prints and smudges show. So have stainless wipes handy. It comes with a wire rack, but it's worthless, you can't fit anything on either rack with it in. Doesn't come recirculation ready, it came top vent ready. You have to take the motor out and rotate it, not a big deal, but minor inconvenience. Conclusion: I would buy it again, I would recommend this to people. I wish the finger prints would not show so much, but this forces me to clean it more often ;-)

    The first one I got a crooked door. The second one got a weird sound when heating food. Ended up exchanging it and got a different model.

    We plugged it in, worked great! 15 days later... stopped working. Fortunately, Best Buy was great about taking it back and helping us choose a new model.

    Nice Microwave easy to install

    I am really happy with this unit (Samsung 1,8 cubic ft. over the stove model 18H1704SFS). It was a replacement for a 13 year old GE model that failed. This unit fit the existing wall support plate perfectly and as a result was very easy to install. One note, if you use the internal fan vent, you will have to remove and rotate the fan motor 90 degrees. This is simple and well documented, but there is a metal rim inside the front of the opening and a slot on each side of the motor housing. It looks like its designed to fit over the metal rim, but its not. It will fit except the unit will only go half way down. Make sure the entire motor housing is behind that metal edge. If it doesn't slip right in and go all the way down, this may be why. When you start to insert the motor, angle it's top to the back of the microwave slightly, After it starts in, rotate it forward and it will slip right into place. Note the description says it has a four speed fan but the specifications say two speed. The 4 speed is correct. The sensor cook works well, and the microwave cooks fast. All of the features are intuitive and work well. I have heard people say it is loud, but I find it to be less noticeable than the unit it replaced, the only real noise is the air flow through the fan on higher speeds. Also the balance of stainless steel and black accents on the front make it a reasonable choice for a kitchen with stainless steel appliances or black appliances. That will be nice if we decide to change from one to the other color. Note this is all based on a good installation experience, and the initial use of the microwave. Durability/reliability is not yet established since I have only had it in place for three days.

    Great unit that works but preset are worthless

    Most of the presets are for Fit brand frozen foods. If you want to cook a raw veggie under one of the settings like Sweet Potato or Rice it will only cook for up to 3 minutes. Most of the setting are not what I would ever use. I got a great price on my unit which is why I bought it but think I will stick with LG and may never buy an Samsung microwave again.

    Not happy with the microwave it does not get hot very fast so I replaced it with a KitchenAid Samsung seemed and looked cheap

    this microwave looks nice, but that’s about as far as it goes. My last microwave was also 1k Watts. This microwave takes longer to heat things and then heats inconsistently. Making a breakfast sandwhich used to be so easy with my old microwave. Now this one liquifies the cheese and is still cold in the middle. Very unhappy with this purchase, but since it wasn’t easy to get up we are stuck with it until it dies.
