I don't recommend this microwave, period! Most of the newer appliances can now be operated using soft touch on the buttons/console. With this microwave however, you have to push really hard for the buttons to engage. How in the world can short and elderly people use this esp. when it is mounted above a stove? Also, you need to turn on the lights during early morning/dusk since the buttons are not illuminated - or you need to use a flashlight to see what buttons you need to press. Why o why are microwave manufacturers removing the illuminated buttons? Lastly, the fan is already malfunctioning after 1.5 years. Heat something up, push the fan button and it will not turn, you just hear a hum. You have to switch to a higher fan speed in order for the fan to start spinning. It seems the fan is getting stuck. I am careful with my appliances and I don't cook greasy food under this microwave so nothing should be causing the fan to stick. I'm thinking cheaper plastic parts and bearing are used hence this malfunction. Our 15 year old GE micro had none of this issues and worked perfectly it was just upgraded to a fancier stainless steel and I miss my GE micro.

We bought the to go with our set of stainless steel appliances. The lower-cost stainless steel smudges pretty easy but our neighbor turned us onto a stainless steel cleaner and protector that seems to work pretty good.

I was a bit nervous for the installation of an over the range microwave, but the directions and layouts provided with this microwave helped a lot. It’s actually pretty easy to install. As for the actual microwave, it works really well. No complaints.

Hard item to review. Just got it. Signal for when kitchen timer finished is too short. Size is good. Easy to use. Looks good. Turntable on/off is good feature and surprisingly not present on many other current models

Hard 2 put up, still cant use all functions BEWARE

I bought a Maytag microwave from another company because best buy could not install a microwave for 2 1/2 weeks. I had Maytag for 3 weeks I sent it back it took for ever to heat food. I bought this Samsung from best buy it was installed in 5 days they installed it fast & did a good job & microwave works great.

This is our 2nd microwave in 2 1/2 years. We bought the original as a package deal. Every piece of the package has had to have service several times in the time that we've had it. I got a good deal on an open box and it's the only reason we went with this brand again. Figuring that by the time this goes up we will be ready to remodel. And it won't be Samsung. Samsung's customer service is awful. Best Buy processing was excellent.

This OTR microwave came with everything we wanted. Turn table that could be turned off, large intake fan for cooking, and in black. Only complaint I would have is if using the Microwave with fan on high it reduces it to lowest setting.

Microwave does look nice and heats items. However, sounds like a jet taking off. Waiting on replacement. Hopefully this one will work properly.

This microwave replace a GE profile. Since its an over the stove mount, the GE had an automatic on when the temp got to a certain degree. The fan ran until the temp came down. The only fault i can find with this microwave.

No problems so far. A nice over the range microwave for the money. Installed in a second home condo. Venting works better than our Whirlpool model that costs a little more if that helps.

This was the first microwave I’ve installed myself and I was worried about the vents... as an over the oven model, it allows recirculating and top venting where I didn’t have to cut a hole in my wall! Operation is wonderful, although all I really do is heat things up with it!

Microwave has all the needed features however the keypad buttons must be pressed hard to work and the lights under the microwave are way too dim. Would have been nice to have some brighter LEDs.

We recently remodeled the kitchen in our condominium and replaced all of our appliances (microwave, stove range and refrigerator). All Samsung, all same color, same look. So far this microwave is doing its job. Love the “anti-fingerprint” finish and the ease of use.

We knew that going in. We bought an open-box item that we knew had some damage. That was fine, but no instructions were in the box, so we had to punt on the install. Once I found install instructions online, we were good to go!

Replacing the light bulb for overhead is difficult b/c it's hard to find the correct light bulb (at least for me) but other than that, it's been a huge upgrade to our kitchen.

On my second one, ok for the price...works well, just be gentle with it..plastic clip in door that holds the latch shet has the tendency to break....

Really like this microwave over my previous one (Whirlpool). Fits much better, much quieter, morer fan speeds. Just overall a better looking and operating microwave. Great price also, of course I got it on sale but not hard to find sales or price matches at Best Buy!! Would definitely purchase again!!

My original Samsung over the range microwave made it 7 years before it elected to turn on when you opened the door. Can you say safety RISK. Repair was not cost prohibitive and the new unit was on sale. Replacement install only needed to drill new mounting holes. Hope this one makes it 7 years

Aside from not having a manual included, so not sure yet what different level numbers mean, it works well. There’s an occasional hum sound when it’s done running. Good product for a fair price.
