    Samsung Microwaves Not As Good As The Hype, Awful

    Missed the return windiw or it would be gone. Not sure what that was but we have had it about three weeks. Samsung's return polices are awful so I am not if the return denial is the fault of Best Buy or Samsung, Anyway, the microwave does not heat fast, the sensor cook is totally inaccurate, and the heat distribution is inconsistent. Our last was a Samsung and it was actually coming on when the door was opened. That's right it was not being operated. If we opened the door to pull out bread we were storing there it would start. Scary. Should have saved it for a lawsuit.

    This review is based on NON-Receipt of the product. 3 re-schedules for a product "in Stock". It will be over a month on the "current" established delivery date. The fact that BBuy sent out this survey request shows how they have no idea about the actual delivery and installation of "their" products. I should note first microwave was damaged and missing parts when picked up for installation by the technician and was rejected. Incredibly disappointed. We hope the microwave will work as advertised and reviewed by G Housekeeping and Consumer Reports......

    Good basic SAMSUNG OTR Microwave…lacks user Info.

    Good basic, over the range, microwave oven. Great installation instructions and wall patterns. However the skimpy directions for microwave use are sadly lacking any clear detail. Even the basic mandatory clock setup is more complicated than necessary. Had to go to online SAMSUNG website and print out the microwave user manual for this to actually understand how to use this appliance correctly. Made strange “zapping” noises on first two uses.then worked great. This was a direct replacement for a same size cabinet cut-out SAMSUNG microwave that lasted 10 years (blew out two display boards). This new one was lighter, same mounting rail on wall, different power cord location on top. Easy to install…requires downloading user info for more than correct use…instruction sticker on inside door panel is really too small to be of any use

    Dont buy, will stop working in one year

    I bought this model year ago. It stopped heating called samsung they eventually said we will send tech over. They came and said megatron is bad which should have 10 year warranty. They voided my warranty saying we can get serial number off the unit.

    They say it’s free install but fail to tell you that when the install person has to but up and extra piece of wood 1/4 thick, 6” wide and 24” long, to make the install work it’s an extra $100

    A Quite Microwave - Who Knew? Love It !

    Purchased early July 2023 and so far very nice and its QUITE too. Like the enabled interior, much easier to clean etc. , though the Buttons for the various cooking settings is a bit tough, perhaps there is a double layer or something, but you really need to "push" the buttons.

    Very pleased with our new Samsung microwave. Installed in under 15 minutes and we could use immediately. Okay the clock took a little time to figure out but setting electronic clocks always a bit of a challenge first time. Works well and is relatively quiet compared to our old microwave. Food heated evenly and have been using it every day since we got it.

    Microwave performs well. I wish a few minor details worked better, such as when the timer goes off, it beeps one time and stops. If you don’t hear that one time your in trouble. The same thing happens when defrosting, when it’s time to turn the item over it just beeps once but it doesn’t tell you to turn it over, so if you don’t hear that beep, oh well. Like I said minor details. Other than that I an very happy with my Samsung microwave.
