Bought this for a video surveillance camera. Such an application is outdoors, and over time, will expect to write and overwrite video many times. It is for THAT reason that you buy this product...it has high endurance for many hours of recording over its life. Broad temperature ranges too..so it needs to be tough. I expect this will be.....time will tell. It's a lot of GIGS for not much money.

if you use a dash cam this is the card that is needed. Samsung has nailed it. I have tried other cards from an internet competitor of Best Buy, basically unbranded cards, on my Rexing Dash Cam, after trying to play back on my computer, the files were there, on the card, it wouldn't play they were corrupted. Stay away from those cards. You get what you pay for. I have had a good experience using Samsung. Pay a little more for quality.

I have a few of these. Great card for the light to moderate use, camera, PC, phone, etc. good response, reliable. I put this one in my Microsoft Surface to back up my data for a near backup. if you need a memory card for a video camera that will see lots of long continuous use, look for Samsungs “High Endurance” line of cards that work great for those applications

Great memory used for recording of any kind. I used it for drone video footage. Reason behind it to use this over other micro sd card? The endurance series has higher temperature where drone can be hot internally while running + sun is baking on the machine too. This way the memory card doesn’t overheat and fails

The best memory card for dash cams. All the expensive memory cards stops working after a certain overwritten of the videos. But this memory is made with the dashcam in mind. Works for very long time with dash cam which constantly keeps recording and formatting videos.

if you got a dashcam you need this. expecting this sd card to last for years as the data is written over and over again, many "normal" sd cards can not handle that many constant rewrites and die early. make sure to get an high endurance sd card for your dashcam.

I have burned through several USB memory sticks for my dash cam. They are simply not build for constant over-writing. That is what this card can handle and I have had no problems.
