Great machine for the money - works flawlessly and can't beat the price. For my needs (email, online business apps and occasional netflix and Itunes) it's perfect. Bought in store for less than current online price and saved a lot more over the unit I had intended to buy when I got there. Everything just works - set-up was the easiest I've ever had - maybe due to operating system but probably 10th laptop purchase and was on line and working in just a few minutes - not the case with previous units. Replaces a Compaq cQ60 which was also a great machine but this one is lighter and best of all stays cool - Compaq would get so hot you couldn't keep on your lap on a warm day. Planning to buy another when I see a further price drop or close-out.

This laptop is great. It came with all of the programs all loaded and ready to go. This was great so I could explore its potential right away. Wifi setup was a breeze and have been using that connection with this computer to surf the web. Its light and easy to carry from room to room or place to place. If I get a 2nd it will be this same one again. Love it.

I bought this laptop over a week ago when it was under $350.00 and have no complaints at all about it. I use it primarily just to surf the internet and play the occasional facebook game, but I would like to make it clear that I am not a heavy gamer. This laptop boots up quickly, runs smoothly, and has a great display. The battery life is also very good, I can get over 5 hours from a full charge (as long as I have the display settings dimmer). On high performance I can get about 4 hours. I would highly recommend this laptop for anyone who is looking for a reliable, everyday laptop who does not want to break the bank. It definitely performs just as well as my past $550 HP and $650 Toshiba.

This is my forth laptop and probably the best laptop performance wise. In the past, I have paid much more for my other laptops and still could not get a reasonable performance. On the other hand, this samsung laptop is the cheapest laptop I ever bought and still very solid and responsive. I bought this during black friday door buster deal when it was much cheaper, and my expectations were very low from this laptop, but when I started using it, my perception changed. It is very quick to start, very responsive to my computer needs (browsing, email, skype), remained very cool even after running it for hours (which makes it actual laptop, otherwise one of my other laptop burns my leg whenever i put that in my lap), smooth netflix watching experience. I have not tried running HD movies on it, so not sure about HD performance. Screen is bright and non-reflective. Keyboard buttons are bit awkwardly placed, which sometime makes typing bit difficult, but I guess with time I should become accustomed to new layout. I am very happy with this laptop and recommend it to people who wants a basic, responsive laptop.

Very impressed so far. Bought this last week when it was $350. Super easy setup, very little junk software to uninstall, and overall great value for the price. With the intel pentium, 4g of ram, 320gb hard drive, and webcam, etc.. You can't ask for a better laptop for basic computer activity (I'm not a hard core gamer).

Like it for the most part. Works well. We purchased 2 on the same day. (One was a Toshiba) Toshiba seemed to be the better deal and had better video quality which is my only real gripe about this computer. Web cam is lower quality. Bought 2 to keep in touch with family member out of state with Skype.

This is proving to be an excellent purchase for the price. Although I would have preferred just a little bit more memory in the laptop, the value for money is excellent.

Samsung laptop computer. Pros: Nice, light, good picture. Good price. Fast service from Best Buy. Cons; Unable to connect to any of three printers. Samsung has poor customer service and unable to assist. Best Buy will offer help for a price.

I bought this as a replacement for my old computer and initially all went great. Then after one month there was some sort of error and the Samsung tech person had me restore it to my initial settings. No big deal but three weeks later I could connect to wireless locations but there was no internet. After a long conversation with the Samsung tech person, I was curtly told that it was something with Windows and absolutely not the hardware, so they couldn't help. I bring it to Best Buy and lo and behold there is something wrong with the hard drive. Now I'm out of a computer for who knows how long. The Geek Squad was great, but I'm not impressed by Samsung.

I love the new computer. I looked at several different computers and this was one I thought would work best for me. It had the side number keys which I really wanted as that's how my computer at work is set up. Unfortunately my delete key popped off a couple of weeks later but I sent it in for repair under the warranty and I'm eagerly waiting for it to return. Sometimes things just happen like that I've had wonderful luck with Samsung products and they take great care of their customers. Angels

This computer was purchased as a Christmas gift for our 16 year old Granddaughter. My husband shopped for weeks looking for a computer for her. He found the Samsung and ordered it. When we got it home, he was amazed with the clarity and speed and was impressed with the stylish look. The silver on the inside also keeps all those nasty fingerprints from showing up everywhere. My Asus is shiny black everywhere and everything shows up on it. I hate that. I am constantly cleaning it. Having a keypad was a must and this one had it along with many other nice features. Our Granddaughter loves it. If you are looking for a great laptop for a student or for yourself, I would recommend the Samsung. You can't beat this for the price and you will not be dissappointed with the quality.

It seems that the sales person forgot to activate my Norton Security and the only way to fix is for me to take everything back. This is an inconvenience and ai would like it done without me being there please

Surprised by the quality of the product for the reasonable price.

The laptop is very good for the typical home user. Enough memory, runs quickly and the view is sharp. Lightweight too for those who need to take it around. Get a nice bag and you won't be disappointed.

The mouse is too touchy. very hard to tap and drag.

This is a great computer. I bought it for my daughter for her birthday. She absolutely loves it. It does everything she wants to use it for.

Slow ... bought it on line through Best Buy (great as always!). I plan to take this machine to the first Best Buy store I find and politely chuck it to the Geek Squad. Help?

This is a great laptop, especially for the money. I am well pleased with everything about it. I would buy another one like this next time.
