I live in a apartment. So I didn’t wanna be that guy who has the home theatre thumping and booming throughout the day just watching regular tv. So I’ve been looking at sound bars that didn’t have subwoofers, well I’ve found the one! It’s gonna a hold me over until I ball out and get a nice sound system down the line

Goes well with my Samsung tv and bluetooths to it with ease. Have not had any problems and sound is great. I use the soundbar sound over the tv speakers (my preference). When turn the tv off the soundbar turns off and when vice versa. This was a great purchase and works well either watching regular tv, movie (internal base is awesome), or playing my PS4 which gets great sound out of it. Recommend to all users more so for Samsung tv users.

Device automatically comes on when we turn on TV. May be user error but we now just connect a device when we want to use the soundbar.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-S40T featuring Music Mode which delivers optimized sound to match music genre and Smart Sound which optimizes sound settings based on what you are watching. I'm sorry to see that you are not completely happy with performance.
To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: STANDARD, MUSIC, or SMART SOUND.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).
If your soundbar is connected via Bluetooth and you want to disconnect it from the Samsung TV, you must press the (Source) button on the top panel or on the remote control to select the mode other than “Bluetooth”.
• Disconnecting takes time because the Samsung TV must receive a response from the Soundbar. (The time required may differ, depending on the Samsung TV model.)

The only negative is after it is turned off at intervals during day and night comes on and says "digital audio in" Only way to prevent it is to disconnect cables to sound bar.
