I bought this sound bar to address the frustration I was having with my volume when I switched from regular TV to either Netfkix or Amazon Prime. I was having to nearly double the volume . The soundbar has nearly eliminated the need to do this. With rare exceptions (some British TV dramas) I do not have to adjust the volume. Another positive was that the set up was extremely easy. I would highly recommend this soundbar.

First things first, this system is not as good as a 5.1 system. If you wanted to mess with all the wires and speakers involved in that, you wouldn't be looking at sound-bars. It is a huge step above the speakers that come with any TV. Voices are clear and crisp, the sound is fuller and the subwoofer definitely gives a thump to bass and sounds such as explosions and gunfire. I was watching Saving Private Ryan again and the sounds of the tanks coming up literally shook the living room and sounded extremely realistic and it was only turned up to 30% with 300 watts, your not likely to put it to full power as the sound gets quite loud and powerful even at 30%. In fact, I havent turned it up beyond 35 or so. If you want more bass treble etc, you can adjust the settings. I used this sound-bar with a Samsung TV and it worked great. It's a great value for the money. I recently upgraded my TV to an LG OLED TV and this made the connections simple. Using the HDMI Arc connection on the sound-bar and TV, you literally do not have to do anything other than tell the TV to use the sound-bar on Arc and everything sets up automatically. Power and volume are controlled by the TV remote which makes controlling the sound-bar extremely simple. You only have to get creative if you're using an older TV without an updated HDMI Arc implementation.

We have owned this sound bar since 2018, it’s 2020 and I chose to review it now. This along with a tv happens to be one of the best purchases from Best Buy. The clarity, column and bass on this beauty makes it worth it. It’s still going strong! So strong that we’re probably going to purchase another one this year to place in another room in our house! ;)
