    Tried two other brands of Soundbar before this and they would not work with my Samsung TV. I finally broke down and purchased this soundbar when it was on sale, and it works perfectly. I use the optical cable for the connection to the TV. Since both are Samsung, the soundbar comes on automatically when I turn the TV on and the TV remote also controls the soundbar for volume, which is exactly what I wanted.
