No Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son-in-law set this up to use with his LG TV using an HDMI cable. Looked like all systems were a go, yet he was unable to get any sound from the Sound bar. After several tries he gave up. It’s going back. It was so disappointing, on family movie night. There were some reviews indicating this was a problem . Maybe that’s why it was on sale.

Nice entry level soundbar and subwoofer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall, I'm very pleased with the soundbar and subwoofer. Setup was fast and easy. Subwoofer paired immediately after I followed the simple and clear instructions provided. I paired this soundbar with the Insignia wireless rear speakers which I had already purchased without any issues. The volume set on max (50) seemed only adequate when used in the "movie" mode, but when setting the source to "music", the volume was what I would expect from a 300W system. The numerous connection options on the soundbar are a plus and the remote has many functions, which were intuitive and all worked well. Nice soundbar when on sale, if purchased at full price I might look at other options.

Unpredictable
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This soundbar has been a nightmare when it comes to different hosts. Hulu, Netflix, Amazon.... the Volume is different for all of them so while watching one show at 20, he next show will blow the speaker with how loud it will be

This was an open-box item and it didn’t work
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This item would not connect the wireless subwoofer to the sound bar. It was an open-box so I suspect that is why the previous owner returned it. Very unsatisfactory and I returned it.

Buyer beware......
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound was terrible, I thought that it was a great buy. The subwoofer was a joke. The sound was turned up all the way and you could barely hear it. Very disappointed.

Less than a month old and stopped working
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this soundbar from BestBuy online and it was delivered 11/8/18. Today is 12/1/18 and it will not power up. Come on Samsung, you can do better than this.

Amazing Soundbar and Easy to Set Up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this Soundbar system for my 4k Samsung TV in the family room, taking advantage of the Black Friday savings. Was so easy to hook up and learn the features. Sound is incredible. Wireless sub-woofer adds terrific bass. The various sound effects are very useful. Was so pleased, bought a second one with the incredible Black Friday savings for the Samsung HDTV in the living room. It is really adding to our viewing experience. Highly recommend!!

Great value for the money spent
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this soundbar over the weekend of the pre-BFD sales. I usually avoid brink and molder stores like BB for electronic purchases because I feel they are generally over priced! However, I saw this and thought I would give it a shot as I have been looking for a soundbar for the past few months. I usually go with Sony electronics when I can but figured since my TV is Samsung (55in curved TV) I would go with the same brand. In the hopes they talk to each other better being the same make. I have be very surprised and happy with my purchase. My old school way of thinking was I needed a optical audio cable and I was shocked to see the bar was packed with one in the box! This however, was quickly dismissed that you really don't need the cable, the bar and my tv sync wireless perfectly. Sound is great, listening to Bluetooth via my phone sounds great as well. Not bad for a 2.1 system, sound is nice and clear, good equalizer options as well, functional for what I wanted a simple bar from my tv in the living room where it's usually me and the little lady watching movies, sports, or listening to music. I would recommend this bar at that wonderful BFD cost!!

Great soundbar at a great deal!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this yesterday as part of the pre-black Friday sale. I started looking at soundbars at Best Buy about 3 weeks ago. A knowledgeable sales associate recommended that I wait until this sale became public and I would get a great deal on a good amount of soundbars. I have an Insignia 55" basic TV and not a lot of connections options so my soundbar options were slightly limited. I was looking at the Vizio 3.1 unit at Best Buy and a Yahama 2.1 at Costco, all in the $140-$150 range with sub woofer as part of the until, not separate. When the ad came out this Samsung soundbar was listed for $139, a whopping 50% off and included a separate sub woofer. After doing my research, it had the HDMI connection as well as optical audio that I needed for my TV. Set up was pretty easy, however, I was not able to get the HDMI connection to work with my Insignia, trying both the input and output which disappointed me. However, the included optical audio cable connection worked seamlessly. The sub woofer paired instantly and after turning off the TV speakers, I had awesome sound from the soundbar. I stayed up to watch 2 movies I had no interest in watching just to hear the movie theater quality sound. I'm using the pass through audio option instead of the PCM from my TV and it seems to work better but you should make your own adjustments. Another disappointment is that I am not able to sync the soundbar remote to my cable remote so I need to use both remotes which is a pain. I think this has more to do with my TV than the soundbar. I give this 5 stars because any issues I have seem to be with my TV, not the soundbar. I don't think I would have spent $280 for this, but at $139, I'm thrilled.
