Samsung CD with unit does not offer Mac-compatible drivers necessary to make the standard adjustments for brightness, contrast, etc. using the virtual buttons. They have a "MagicTune" suite available for download, which they claim is Mac compatible, but it's not. I kept getting a Java error message about "array index out of bounds," which their live-chat guy could not explain. I'm on an Intel Mac Mini and my Java suite is entirely up to date. I also object to the glitzy label that goes half way up the right edge of the monitor frame. It looks like it should peel off--but it doesn't. I use my computer mostly for word processing, and text is more grey than black. I want good sharp contrast, which this machine may be able to provide for PCs. For Macs, this is not a wise choice. I'm returning it tomorrow.

Have had it for about 1 month so reliability is still uncertain. The picture quality is way better than the 15 inch LCD VGA it replaced. I am using the DVI input not the VGA which I am sure has a lot to do with the pic quality. The software suite seems sort of cheap and I decided to un-install it. Also, the direction sheet is not exactly clear on some of the user adjustments but I think that most anyone should be able to figure out how to adjust brightness and contrast settings. I give it a thumbs up!

Great picture right out of the box with no adjustments. Monitor is very aesthetically pleasing to the eyes! 2ms response time! Need I say more? Package includes 2 cables, a DVI to DVI and a DVI to VGA! The touch sensitive buttons are responsive and easy to use. I'm using this monitor for gaming and photo editing and the picture is excellent! Smooth frame rates in games and amazing quality in photo editing! Just remember that your video card makes a huge difference in the quality of the monitor's picture. I'm running a geForce 9600gt with the resolution at 1600x900.

The monitor is great. I use it to game with and it works flawlessly, framerates are amazing. Id recommend this to anyone who plans on using DVI. Im looking at buying a second so i can replace my current dual screen setup.(want matching screens) If i had any complaints at all, it would be about the stand, its kinda awkward, but i think im going to hang it on the wall anyway so it wont matter long.

You should get the Samsung 2033 SW for the same price, it comes with both DVI and VGA.

This was my first HDTV, so a good first purchase. Overall good product, but the long delay when changing channels can be a bit annoying.

This is a good 20 inch monitor. I hesitated to buy this because of its relatively higher price than other competitors' monitor. But, it works better than I expected. This monitor is for you if you're looking for good quality 20'' monitor.

i bought this around 8 months ago and it is now broke..i only used it prob. 2 to 3 hours a day and it started to blink when turned on to the point that its like a strobe light flickering on and off real quick...this is the last thing i bought from samsung and i will never buy a product from them again i had problems with there cell phones years ago but the montior is the iceing on the cake i can only hope people have better luck than me with samsung
