The refrigerator arrived in a timely manner and has been great. It has a sleek look and has pretty good storage for a counter depth design. The only thing it really lacks is a light at the water/ice dispenser and one more drawer in the refrigerated part.

This is a really nice refrigerator. I like the fact that it has no handles. We bought this about a month ago as an open box excellent condition however when we picked it up we received satisfactory condition with 2 dents. went back to the store and was told it was the last one. manager was nice enough to give us $200 back the difference between excellent and satisfactory. because we were selling our home we didnt want to spend more by ordering a brand new one so we kept it. i would suggest you check the sticker at time of pick up when ordering out the box. you don't always get what you pay for. all in all we would highly recommend this refrigerator. it really has a nice look to it and so far works great.

Overall a good refrigerator for the price (under $1,400). It runs quietly and cools very well. Some shortcomings like no light for the water/ice dispenser or moveable shelves. It is replacing a Kenmore Elite at twice the cost which only lasted 5 years. Since it is Samsung, I do expect a better tenure.

I have had to buy 3 refrigerators over the last 10 years and this one by far has been the best one. Ice dispenser is big and easy to use. Keeps foods at the right temp and built with intentionality as space is perfect.

Love this extremely quiet and sleek looking refrigerator. Holds temperature really well in both sections. We really the "no smudge marks" panels for easy maintenance. Bought it based on research and Best Buy advice on various options. Store was extremely customer friendly and delivery and installation was pretty seamless.

I have had this refrigerator for a few weeks now and it looks and works great. Plenty of space inside and on the door. The ice maker is a little slower nut the ice cubes it makes are larger in size so they last longer. I am really pleased with this purchase so far.

The look of this refrigerator is really nice and sleek. It has made our kitchen feel more spacious and updated. The inside is nice also. The only complaint it the ice maker is slow. We run out of ice daily with just 2 people.

I don't like giving reviews on the refrigerator I've only had in my home for two weeks but here it goes. I will say this refrigerator cools and freezes more than any other refrigerator I've ever owned. I tested the freezer with ice cream and it actually froze the ice cream and not leave it soft like the previous refrigerators I've owned. It runs quietly and all I hear out of it is when the ice falls into its container. So far so good so I gave 5 stars.

Great quality refrigerator for the price. Plenty of room for a counter depth refrigerator. Looks are very modern and stylish. So far works wonderful. I like the added feature of the door chiming at you if you forget to shut it or leave it open too long.

What I like more than my previous Samsung model RSG257AARS compared to this model: Magnetic door front for stainless steel model (refrigerator magnets), Use of interior space is more efficient, Door handle design keeps front cleaner, plastic parts are better sealed together to reduce food accumulation stuck between parts that is not cleanable, Interior temperature/status display is nice, Fits my cabinet space perfectly, It has WIFI capability.

    Great fridge, crazy water dispenser

I’ve had the refrigerator for about 2 weeks and very pleased so far. We had a French door previously and the side by side takes some adjustment. We can’t fit a pizza box or a full ice cream cake in the freezer, simple adjustments. This fridge is 5 cubic feet smaller than my old fridge but seems bigger due to the way it’s laid out, impressive. My only issue is the water dispenser. I do not care about the light. I do care that if you use a cup smaller than a pint glass, the stream can miss the glass all together. Is the pad adjustable? Why is the stream so far forward? I don’t get the logic, hope I’m missing something. Any help is appreciated. BestBuy delivery people were the worst, so maybe they could have explained something if they hadn’t run off and left us without doing their job. Delivery was a terrible experience.

Does its job, but if you like ice, look elsewhere

Our old fridge went out right at the beginning of the Covid-19 shutdown, so we couldn't go to the stores to look at anything, and no one was delivering inside or taking the old fridges away. So, we had to rely on online info only, plus we were limited to counter-depth units only to fit in our kitchen. This replaced an older Samsung unit that was much more deluxe than this one. We always wait several months before posting reviews (until after the "shakedown cruise") Pros: -Does its job of cooling and freezing food. -We really like the fact this has no door handles on the outside. I always hated the fact that the attachment points collected all manor of debris that had to be cleaned out. These are super easy to keep clean as they are recessed into the doors themselves. - Easy to connect and set up. But we already had the water line and hose from the previous fridge present, so it took us about 60 seconds to connect the new line. - We also like the fact that the water dispenser is taller than on our old fridge, to accommodate taller water bottles. Cons: - If you really like ice, look elsewhere. This can't keep up. Fortunately, we don't use much, but when we had a family member here last month, who liked ice, he had to pray to the ice goddess to give him enough cubes to last a day. Extremely SLOW ice making, and yes, we have checked and tried everything. - On the fridge side, if you keep the temperature lower than 40 degrees, items on lower shelves freeze, at least for us. - This unit does not have many built-in bins, so if you want more, you will have to buy stand-alone bins. - My God, DO NOT shut your fingers in the door! This was easy to do, because we were used to having exterior handles where we could be closing one side, and opening the other at the same time with no worries. On this unit, what you see as a gap between the doors in the photos isn't really a gap at all. So if you perform the above maneuver, your fingers will get caught in between. You will only do it once, LOL.

I love this fridge! Went from a top freezer to this, hoping it would have more freezer space- but it doesn’t. I transferred all my frozen goods and they fit the same- but much easier to access! We wanted the water and ice dispenser and are really pleased with it. Our tall water bottles fit no problem and the water flavor is great! Our tap doesn’t taste good at all but this filters put fresh, tasteless water ( and I am picky). It’s perfect for us. My concerns when reading reviews was the single light and the fixed shelves. Neither has been an issue. Shelves are spaced just right and the light gives plenty of light even at night. I gave 4 stars because the bottom drawer is very small and I would prefer a third drawer for butter and cheese. But I solved that problem by ordering a few plastic refrigerator organizer bins. Overall we are very happy with this purchase. It’s quiet and looks great! We would definitely recommend it.

Great fridge. Is as pictured. Spacious and silent. The plastic wrap was difficult to get off clean though so be prepared to spend some time tearing it off the fridge especially inside the doors behind the seal.

The size of counter top depth was perfect for my small lab. The old one was full size. It was bulkier than the new one. This one has recessed door handles. They are working perfect. Don’t close two doors at the same time. There is a chance to jam you fingers. The ice maker is great. The new bright led light is great. The temperature control is great. At 34degree I found some lettuce may be iced. The compressor noise level is slightly higher than the higher level one. But it was not that bad. Everyone felt it was great purchase replacing the one died suddenly after 12 years. It was Samsung also.

This refrigerator is awesome! So much more room than our previous ge counter depth fridge. Some people complained about the fixed shelves and non lit water/ice dispenser. Neither are a problem for me. The flush handles keep the look very streamlined. My only complaint would be with the packaging. All of the outside is covered in plastic wrap which I get, but make it easier to remove please. I spent over an hour with a razor blade trying to cut it out of all the little nooks and crannies. Also, the tip about using a hairdryer to remove the sticker on the front worked like a dream. Can’t comment on the longevity of it since it’s only been a month. But it can’t be any worse then the ge.

I wanted to like this fridge, but just to summarize, I wish I hadn’t bought it. Let’s explore what I mean… First, the positive features: I like the side-by-side design, and it’s plenty big enough for our household of three adults. And the dimensions are what I wanted since it doesn’t protrude out into the kitchen as much as our old Kenmore/LG. But the unanticipated irritations are several: 1) The water/ice dispenser is poorly designed. The problem here is that it’s an all-in-one unit, ice and water being dispensed from the same aperture. (Well, the ice dispenser is large diameter and the water dispenser is a small spigot on the rim of the ice dispenser.) How is this a problem? Well, many fridges have two separate dispensers adjacent to each other: one for the ice, and a separate one for the water. And in these fridges, you can usually push your cup or glass right up to the dispenser and get water without spillage. But in this Samsung, the spigot is in the front and the panel that you push is all the way at the back. So if you have a small glass (with a small diameter rim), there is a 100% chance that water will spill everywhere, which is what happened to me the first time I tried it. That doesn’t happen with a properly designed dispenser. My workaround has been to put small glasses on the shelf of the dispenser while I then use my other hand to push in the panel. Awkward, but it works. You also have to be very careful when the ice dispenser is used. A large-diameter receptacle is necessary, otherwise ice cubes cascade to the floor. 2) Secondly, much to my surprise, when it’s time to change the filter, you can’t just pop it out and insert a new one. Nope. You must instead turn the water supply off and then remove the old filter. If this isn’t done first, good luck getting the old filter out. That’s because the line is under pressure. So you now have to PULL OUT your new fridge from the wall, turn off the water supply valve going into the fridge, and then remove the old filter. As per the user’s manual. Why the Samsung engineers couldn’t, let’s say, design a water shut-off valve inside the fridge or better yet, design the filter such that you can easily swap it out with no turning the water off is beyond me. (And I have a neuro-muscular disease – not so easy to pull out the fridge, bend down and reach over to the other side to turn off the water supply. Guess I’ll have to get used to it.) So I can’t recommend this refrigerator.

Like the counter depth and no handles. Nice sleek refrigerator. Is a basic model and cannot adjust shelf height. Has no light where the water and ice comes out. Would be nicer with a small light there. Overall works good the few weeks we have had it.
