I hate everything about this stupid thing

This is a horrible machine. It is non-standard installation, so you have to reconfigure your intake and output hoses. The racks are poorly designed - too large of spaces on the top rack so small things fall through. The lower racks are poorly designed so that the dishes clang into each other unless you space them every three rungs. The lower rack is not attached and is hard to replace at times. The sensor on button needs to be massaged for several seconds before it finally decides to start. The clean button only stays lit for a worthless ten minutes. Hate it, hate it, hate it. I think the "RHS" in the model number stands for "Royal Hunk of S**t"

    BEST DISHWASHER FOR THE PRICE

Seriously, you can not get a better dishwasher for the price. Look at these peoples minor complaints. None of them deserved a whole star deduction. Look at every other brand GE, Maytag, Whirlpool all have major complaints. This dishwasher will get off every chunk and hunk of food. I don't wash off anything. I don't add jet rinse because I don't mind running a dry rag through the dishes to make sure they're dry. But with Jet dry or any other additive to help with the drying they are totally dry. People are crazy this is awesome!!!!!

Only had a week and Hate it!

This dishwasher only has two good things about it. It looks nice, and is large inside. Everything else.....I don't like. It is low to the ground, the baskets get stuck and causes the bottom rack to get jammed. The wheels on the bottom rack come out, and do not slide in at all without getting jammed. This is the worst dishwasher I have ever had. I can't believed I paid 600 dollars for this....and I thought samsung was a great brand. Oh, I almost forgot, my old dishwasher does just as good of job cleaning as this piece of junk.

Had this dishwasher for just over a year and I absolutely HATE it!! In the beginning it did ok, but now if you don't rinse every tiny piece of food, forget it, it's not coming off with this machine. The rack design is quite useless as well. I wish I had known more before I purchased this. Live and learn I suppose.

    Finally, a Dishwasher that CLEANS!

Purchased this to replace a 1.5 year old Whirlpool unit (that's a different story...) This unit cleans wonderfully (as any new-age dishwasher should.) Has a food grinder as well, so no hand cleaning the inside of the unit. One problem, though...tall plates and/or tall utensils will keep the center sprayer from spinning...extra care is needed when loading. I love the controls in the top of the door and the progress lights. I wish that all cycles had a "done" light though. Whisper quiet as well! When installing, though, the water inlet is in the front ( I guess for safety if it fails) but made it difficult to get the correct fittings...at least for me. Overall, though, very pleased!

I purchased this dishwasher early in Feb 2012. Some of the reviews had me thinking twice (not drying, etc) I have no regrets purchasing this model! It's very quiet, easy to use and cleans great leaving glasses spotless (I'm using cascade's detergent & rinse ). It is well made and looks great in my kitchen to boot! I have only used it on normal wash settings and everything is clean, even the pans with food caked on them. It was on sale when I purchased but went on sale again the next week so I took advantage of Best Buy's 60 day price guarantee. So far I am one happy customer!

    Stay Away

To start, this is the first and only problem I have had from any Best Buy product purchased and I would never take the time to write a review but I don't wan't anyone else to have to go through what I am going through with Samsung! I purchased this dishwasher in Feb. of 2011. In August of 2012 I started getting an error code that said the water level was low. Basically when I started the cycle the water would fill to the right level, then it would error out and drain the water. I called Samsung and they were willing to extend my warranty and referred me to an authorized repair center. The repair center sent out a technician two weeks later who then had to order a part and reschedule for a week later. When the part got here the new technician assigned to the job installed the part and the dishwasher then gave a new error code. So the technician had to order a new control panel. 2 weeks later the control panel was installed, then a leakage error popped up. I have had 4 technicians install a total of 5 different parts over the past month and a half and still do not have a working dishwasher. Samsung will not send me a replacement, they will only buy it back with a 20% deduction from the purchase price because it has depreciated in value. Therefore I have to keep waiting for new parts to come in and reschedule appoitments that are at least two weeks out from this AWFUL authorized servcie company (A&E Factory Services).

Surprised at some of the previous reviews. We nearly passed on this unit because of others opinions. Was ready to pay more for another brand , but the sales person steered us back into the direction of this Samsung. We are very please with the construction quality and how quiet this unit is. The only negative I would mention is that this unit does not hold as many dishes as our old unit and competitors, but makes up for it with how well it cleans and operates.

This doesnt clean quite as well as the Bosch we replaced. It is substantially less expensive and a bit quieter. One thing to be careful about is both the bosch and the samsung said they were 24" wide. Well this is 23 and 3/4" and the bosch it turns out was 23 and 1/2" wide. which made for a tight fit.

Before I bought 2 Samsung dishwasher I read other people 5 star reviews prior to purchasing this. Just using it for 3 days the inside of the dishwasher is wet and never drys on top of that.... the steam technology so called drys you dishes.. I ended up drying my own dishes and the machine so it doesn't rust. Samsung doesn't warranty rust. I returned it and bought new Kitchen Aid that actually drys and clean much better.

Buy this unit if you are tired of loud and ugly dishwashers. Samsung has converted this 25 year loyal Whirlpool customer. Compare them side by side, you spend a bit more for Samsung but, the value speaks volumes to the slightly higher price. Another fine example of lowest price does not always mean best value. Buy this unit with confidence; it will out perform everything in its class and it will be very quiet about it!

Buyer beware!! We purchased this dishwasher 13 months and 3 days ago. Last night the dishwasher would not run and the bottom filled up with soapy water. My husband called Samsung today and gave him the name of a repair company that will make a house call for $110 to hopefully fix the repair. We called the repair company and they said it sounds like the pump went out.....after 13 months?? Our last dishwasher lasted over 10 years from GE! And we only replaced it because we were going stainless (big mistake). So our $400+ dishwasher is now a $500+ dishwasher! Awesome. We have a Samsung fridge as well that was purchased as the same time....fingers crossed that it doesn't go out so soon! This will be my last Samsung purchase.

Yep, it's quiet. Everything else; not. so. much. - specifically Samsung's customer service. The whole mechanical assembly was bad in ours from the start - it was replaced. Product worded for a little more then a year (out of warranty) LEAKS! Samsung said they would pro-rate for roughly a little more then half the value of the piece of garbage I bought. just trying to post this review and; madcustomer, nothappycustomer nicknames have been taken!

For the price, you would think this would have a delay start but no. You would think that the clean light would stay on till the first person opens the dishwasher, but no, it only stays on for 10 minutes. The wheels fall of all the time The upper shelf is very hard to move in and out. If you start to empty the bottom shelf from the front, the self tips back and pops up in the front. You have to remember to start unloading from the back. If you have anything long in the silver ware tray, the top washer wheel doesn't spin. You will not be happy with the top shelf for glasses. There is a strange smell that I have never had before on any dishwasher.
