Louder than I expected but cleans well overall. Spotless when drying dishes.

I bought this dishwasher, continually had issues. Replaced after a 1 year, Samsung Customer Service is no help. The Dishwasher has a major design flaw with their water level sensor. Save yourself the headache and buy a Bosch.

I don't know what is worse, this Samsung dishwasher or Geek Squad. I have had 3 service calls since March, this dishwasher is a piece of junk that has not worked in almost a year. After a service call it may seem to work better for a week or two, and then back to the usual behavior of not cleaning dishes, coating the dishwasher with a film of soap, and basically not circulating water properly. I just got off the phone with Geek Squad and because two of my service calls were within 90 days, I will need to have a 4th service call and will have to wait until the middle of January before I can get it looked at again. Basically, I now have to hand wash dishes for a month and a half and during Christmas when we will be having guests before geek squad will replace this piece of junk. What a bunch of bull. Buying Samsung appliances was the worst mistake I made. Between this piece of junk dishwasher, our clothes washer that dumped gallons of water all over our floor and took almost 4 months to fix, our microwave which is starting to act up (all of these appliances are not even 2 years old) and the junk Samsung TV my in-laws dealt with before finally replacing it, I WILL NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN, and will also look for a different warranty company next time as I do not appreciate being told I have to sit with a non-working dishwasher for a month and a half before they will do anything. I'm almost tempted to just start setting up service calls a few times a month since they never fix this thing and seeing how much of a service bill I can wrack up before they decide it would be much cheaper to just replace it. I might just go that route. Anyway, the moral of the story, run as fast as you can from anything Samsung!

Bought item 15 months ago. Has had service for the same problem twice and now for a third time. Cost of repair is est. at 350.

Washes good when it doesn't break down!!!!! Control panel needs to be replaced after barely a years use!!!! Such a waste of money!!!

Save yourself a lot of grief and just by something else. I purchased this about 8 months ago and it just stopped working for the second time. I'm officially giving up and spending the money I should have spent the first time around on a better dishwasher. No more samsung appliances for me.

I bought my unit 14 months ago and we are going to dump it and buy another brand. It has never cleaned all of the dishes and is now has a grinding noise while cleaning. Dishes come out of the washer with food on them that I can remove with my finger. I love my Samsung refrigerator but after this I will never buy another Samsung product.

We have had this dishwasher for 13 months (1 month past warranty expiration) and already the heating element has gone out. I have been trying to get help from Samsung, but with little progress. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Bought this 16 months ago and it is already broke!! Won't complete a cycle and there are lights and bells coming on randomly. Took over a week to get Samsung to connect me wIth a repair service. Had to repeat my story no less than 5 times. Repair service tells me that it will cost about $335 to repair. This is complete BS...why would I dump $335 into a repair for something that Samsung should be standing behind. First time and last time buying Samsung products.

Initially we were very satisfied with this dishwasher, but within 1 year the temperature sensor failed causing the dishwasher to stop working completely. The service call and part cost $250. Also note that although this part failed TWO DAYS after the one-year warranty expired, Samsung refused to help with the cost of this repair.

I bought this dishwasher 1.5 years ago. It has broke down twice, same thing each time, the case brake assembly. The part cost about $100 and you can replace it yourself. Don't bother with this piece of junk, save yourself some work and headache and buy another brand.

I purchased this Samsung dishwasher last Feb and it started leaking in Dec. To make a long story short I've been dealing with Samsung for 5 months trying to get it fixed, they've sent someone to my house 4 times to work on it and it still leaks. Samsung has been horrible to deal with. :-( I wish I would've purchased a warranty with Best Buy. I will never purchase a Samsung product again

Reviews were very scarce on this dishwasher when we purchased because it was so new - but we bought an entire Samsung kitchen suite. We have had issues with smell (even rinsing dishes prior to loading) - we need to hold our breath when opening the door. And although we generally open up the door to let the dishes finish air drying (the drying cycle does not do a good job), we ran it at night and upon opening it in the morning, there was mold on the dishes. As in other reviews, dealing with Samsung is a pain. Do yourself a favor - stay away.

BLACK MOLD WARNING. dishwasher does not dry any plates and meets all conditions to promote black mold and mildew onto the filter at the bottom of the tub, thus you are going to be cleaning dishes with mold and mildew. This started since purchase. Dishwasher died after 60 days. Contacted Samsung and was told that the warranty expired 1 month prior to purchase (warranty is 1 year Labor, 5 year Parts). Correcting Samsung's warranty error takes 3-7 days. Scheduling service would be faster if they could field to the correct state, I'm in Texas and they want a tech to travel 1300 miles from West Virginia for repair. I owned the cheaper model DW80J3020US for over a year and it worked, and actually dried dished. This model does not does not dry. I should have contacted Best Buy the first failure for exchange.

Never worked properly from new Samsung would not fix under warranty, reason? I live too far away from Denver Found that the pump had a broken part deep inside, so it will never pump water properly... And that is why dishes are so filthy Still Samsung will not service... I have to buy a new replacement pump and fix the problem myself I bought a new Bosch dishwasher instead... And took a huge loss on a $900 Samsung dishwasher

So far the item is great. We are enjoying our new Samsung and glad we made the purchase. This dishwasher is very quiet and cleans the dishes extremely well. We would recommend this item to any and everyone.

I am very disappointed with this dishwasher. I have purchased many products from Samsung and have always been impressed with how well made they are, but this dishwasher is awful. Excessive water is always left on the dishes, sometimes it does not drain, often there is a bad odor and on many occasions the soap has either not dispensed or I have found the soap tab sitting on the bottom of the dishwasher. I have contacted Samsung, as it is still in warranty. But, I am not feeling very hopeful, as I see from many of the other posts that Samsung has not been very helpful. Very disappointing considering how highly I have always viewed this company.

The dishwasher works great. It's very quiet and cleans dishes very well. The dishwasher was easy to install.

Just finished paying it off. 2 years old and the motherboard quit. Too expensive to fix and Samsung offered me nothing. It leaked at the front left corner and the bottom tray got stuck all the time. I am furious. Now off to get another one., NOT a samsung!!

Do not buy this Dishwasher!! I bought is for my daughter when she moved in her new house Oct 31, 2015 it's November 30, 2015 and water won't fill in it. Best Buy and Samsung don't want to know anything.. Well I don't want to know anything when the CC Bill comes. It's Brand New they can come pick this lemon up!
