This dishwasher is not as good as my old dishwasher. It has poor design. It would seem to have more room but nothing fits well and you can not load it up too full or with anything tall as it will either prevent soap from dispensing or the top washer from working. It is loaded with plastic parts that get in the way or become floppy. What seemed to be a better design of moving utensils to the side instead of the door prevents closure of the carriage and other problematic. Pass on this and look for a different design. I wanted it to work but the bad reviews on here are completely justified. If I could return it, I would, but it took longer than 45 days to figure out it stinks.

This dishwasher is junk! After 6 months of use I would get an error code saying it was leaking. Samsung sent someone out and they refused to replace the dishwasher because it was no longer giving the error code. The warrant person said the bottom of the dishwasher cracks and it leaks slowly and if you let the dishwasher sit and dry out for a few days you won't get the error code anymore. I used the dishwasher for another 10 months and it's finally died. The sensor this time didn't work at all and it leaked all over my kitchen.

please look at reviews on other sites (Lowes, Samsung, etc). This machine is the worst appliance I have ever owned. I took out a 10 yr old working machine to put this in to update my kitchen, I would rather have my old machine back. It does not dry the dishes, you have to dry them later (they say it's an energy saving method). It started smelling, the seal doesn't work properly and came loose on both sides, then it started stopping mid cycle, leaving the dishes dirty, and shutting off. electronic display malfunctioning. the list is endless of thing wrong. We rarely use this machine, so it lasted longer than others who had the same problems, but that was less than a year. This machine should not even be on the market with Samsung knowing all the problems it has. IMHO

this samsung dishwasher started out working well, washing well....then the display that controls the dishwasher went out. Fortunately the machine was still under warranty, but samsung came out and replaced the control panel but charged us for labor. Then told us the seals were bad and should be replaced but had to be ordered. When they returned to install the tech only replaced one of the seals around the door but not the bottom of the door. After the tech left I ran the machine and it leaked from the bottom. Ever since then trying to get them to come out and finish the job has been a nightmare. Now it is our fault, the water is too hot (really, then why does the machine have a hi temp function on it), we aren't using He detergent (no such thing for dishwashers)..... they wanted us to pay to fix the machine leaking water when they caused the problem. NEVER buy a samsung product - they suck!!

Non-stop issues with this piece of junk. We would get it repaired for $100 just to have it fail within a few months. So we spend another $100 for a whole 3 months of good washing. Overall we spent $400 in repairs, and wish that we just bought a new dishwasher in the first place. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

My Samsung dishwasher motor failed 6 weeks after the 4 year extended warranty ran out. Samsung only warranties motor for 1 year. Consider this item disposable.

We had to purchase a new dishwasher in January after having to replace our simple and basic Whirlpool dishwasher that we had for 7 years. We didn't read much of the reviews and just trusted the Best But sales person to recommend a good quality dishwasher, since we are Best Buy costumers for almost 20 years. The dishwasher has a horrible smell, you have to literally wash the dishes before putting in the dishwasher then wash again because THE DISHWASHER FOESNT WASH THE DISHES!!!! After months and 3 times having the Samasung technician over and having the technician say that the dishwasher is unrepeatable, SAMSUNG will not take care of its customers. Even though is under 1 year warranty they will not reimburse, replace or fix it!!! I had to call Best Buy corporate to help me plea my case with Samsung and I am still waiting for a resolution while MY DISHWASHER DOESNT WASH THE DISHES. Our other regret that we have in addition to purchasing a SAMSUNG dishwasher we regret not purchasing the extended warranty from Best Buy because they would have already replace it. So very frustrating to purchase an expensive item and can't use it for what its purpose is to wash dishes!!!! So now we are stuck with a product that doesn't work.

Purchased a package of Samsung appliances for our home over a year ago. The dishwasher has never stopped leaking no matter how it is leveled. The dishwashing detergent door regularly fails to open during the cycle forcing a second washing. The washing quality is very poor. There are always items we have to wash by hand because the dishwasher didn't do the job. We will be replacing the dishwasher within the year with a Bosch.

Horrible dishwasher. Currently taking up space in our new kitchen while we shop for a new one. Few people fix these, parts take forever to get from manufacturer if you can find a repair service. Even when it rarely works, the wash cycles take forever - often as long as 90 minutes. The racks are weirdly built and don't store many dishes for washing so it has small loads as well. It's just horrible - don't bother buying it. It broke 15 months after installing, repair person has replaced two key parts, waiting for third part (been waiting 2 weeks already).. Certainly won't buy Samsung appliances again, and probably won't buy appliances at Best Buy either.

The Samsung dishwasher I bought failed three times in the first year, causing about a months worth of handwashing and three days disrupted meeting repairmen. Now a month out of warranty it has quit again. I am normally very happy with my Samsung products but this time I have been very disappointed and cannot recommend their dishwashers.

I HAVE AN ACTIVE FAMILY THAT DROPS AND GOES - I MAY NOT GET TO THE DISHES FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. YOU MUST MAKE SURE YOUR DISHES ARE FAIRLY CLEAN IF YOU WANT TO RUN THEM THROUGH THIS MACHINE; OTHERWISE YOU WILL BE SOAKING THE FOOD OFF THE PLATES AFTER THEY WENT THROUGH THE SANITIZE/HEAVY DUTY CYCLE... NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND TIME FOR INSTALLATION KEEP LOOKING

I bought this dishwasher on August 25, 2010. I had it installed by Best Buy and in ten month of use it stopped working because an error identified as Leakage error. Fortunately it was in the warranty period and I just had to wait a couple of days to get it fixed. This week, four years later, it stopped again. Error Low-level water error. I called a Samsung Technician who figured out the problem was with the "main circuit board". Cost to replace it - $ 350.00. As you may guess I decided to dump this machine and buy a new one. However I paid $89.00 for the technician visit. This two issues were not the only thing that I experienced. This dishwasher is noisy and during this four years we have other minor issues that I was able to fix it. If you want to avoid headaches (and your wife complaining about your brand choices) don't buy dishwashers from Samsung. They are good in electronics (phones, TV, etc) but not appliances.

We bought this dishwasher to match our fridge and it was a great choice. Its usage is simple and it delivers very good cleaning quality.

We bought this dishwasher in February (it is now October) and have had to have it serviced 5 times. There have been replaced parts every single time and even the repair man said that he sees this model often, there are a lot of flaws. It might seem like a good deal but it is not. We are actually having to replace the entire dishwasher now because of the mechanical problems it has had since day 1. From leaking at the edges of the door to sensors not working correctly this item has given us problem after problem.

Have had this unit for several years. Shortly after the warranty was up, we had the main control board replaced. Since then have had several errors and the dishes often come out dirty. Would not recommend this.

Had a horrible experience with this dishwasher. The only thing worse than the dishwasher not working for over 7 weeks is the repair service. Dishwasher was one month old and stopped working. Since I didn't buy the extended warranty, Best Buy keeps trying to fix it versus replace it. 5th repair visit coming today. Best Buy's response, "Sorry you have been having problems. Hopefully, the next repair will do the trick."

well back to using a dishwasher that works , my wife. bought this dishwasher a little over 2 years ago but didn't start using until a year ago because we were in the start of a major house remodel. 2 months ago this started showing problem with over water level error. ok we will fix it . washer just ran out on the warranty so we are on the hook for the bill of north of 300 dollars . not worth the repair ofter reading other reviews . i would buy another brand but now my kitchen set won't match since we bought it all from samsung . not happy , don't buy , also the microwave makes crazy loud noises when in use and fridge is not as cold as i would like . bought the counter top depth one and i always have warm milk . 2 thumbs down for this set . fridge was 2900 bucks

I can't believe how terrible this dishwasher is. I have had zero clean dishes from this dishwasher, including glasses and silverware. Doesn't clean anything and doesn't dry at all, you have to leave the door ajar after cycle to allow for drying--- which leaves spots anyway. I have never had a worse appliance. I have checked and nothing is wrong with the item, it just simply doesn't work well.

This dishwasher was in the house we purchased, it was brand new when we moved in. Looks nice but doesn't clean very well, used a rinse aid and there were still water marks on glasses. Within 4 months we had to replace the main electronic panel because it went out, it would keep shutting off about 5 minutes into the cycle. We had a home warranty so this covered and we repaired. Then 13 months later the same part went out again, the repair was $250 plus the service call visit another $75. At this point we decided not to repair and just get a new dishwasher. Skip this dishwasher.

My Samsung experience. I purchased 4 new samsung products. 50% of them upon install did not work--dishwasher & microwave. They have not worked properly for 7 weeks now.This dishwasher didn't work upon install. Also, good to note for those planning on buying this product that there is a problem on manufacting that affects the water overflow sensor causing the dishwasher not to work. It took 2 weeks for them to decide they couldn't repair it and that they will replace it. I have been without a functioning dishwasher since Nov 5th...didn't have one for Thanksgiving. And now Christmas and New Year's is not looking good.
