I was having a difficult time finding a quality refrigerator that did not have an external water and ice feature. I didn't want a small frig. I am totally happy with the configuration of the freezer and frig drawers. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a very large refrigerator for a great price. I don't use the icemaker because it is pretty loud, but otherwise I love it!

Even for only 2 people this 26 cu ft frig was easy to fill. Ours was a floor demo so we saved $600!

Bought it in a local BestBuy with free delivery, installation and haul away of my broken frige. The delivery was delayed by two days, but I was given a free $30 gift card for the delay. The design is great. However, my 2 month old frige has the same problem described in Pjohns's review: it makes knocking sound once for a while, which is annoying somehow. In addition, the water filter leaked slowly for the first 5 weeks, even I tried to make it tight enough. I had to put a container under the filter. Maybe the gasket is expanded after a few weeks of use. Now it doesn't leak any more. I would love it if it were not making knocking sound.

Very roomy, like the inside water dispenser. Love the doors and storage in them. Very nice looking appliance.

We bought this refridgerator almost 2 1/2 yrs ago. Worked great for almost 2 yrs. Now the fan freezes up and causes the compressor to shut down. Went on-line and found a temporary fix to turn off and let it defrost. It worked but now 6 months later the problem is back. Samsung says there is not a recall or any complaint in their system regarding this issue. Not sure how much a service call will cost us. We may just have to turn it off every six month. What a hassle. Get the exended service plan!!! Maybe we just got a defective one. It is too bad because other than this issue I really love this product. Not sure if I will buy another Samsung fridge. Our previous fridge was a Whirlpool and lasted for 18 yrs. Maybe manufactuers just don't make appliances like they used to.

I had a disastrous time with my Samsung. I posted a video of the decibel meter capturing the refrigerator's loud cracking noise on UTUBE.. search for "Samsung french door Loud cracking" to find it... A cracking sounds that occurs 8-12 times per day started several months after I got it, and kept getting louder and louder. The cracking reached 90 Decibels. 90 Decibels is louder then a blender and sounded like a glass dropping on the kitchen floor from about 5’. The first time someone came out, they changed the ice maker. This was a reasonable guess and attempt to fix it. When he came out the second time, he explained that if it was not the ice maker, it was inside the solid wall and they could not fix it. I live in a one Story house with the kitchen against the bed room wall. This cracking is so loud it was waking me up and startling anyone in the kitchen when it cracked. Next his supervisor came out. I had video taped the fridge so he could hear the level of the sound. He could not duplicate it – which is why I video taped the fridge when it made the sound, but he called Samsung and they told him to tell me it was a NORMAL LEVEL sound !! I bought a decibel meter to see what this sound level was (how did they know it was normal if they didn’t know exactly how loud it was..?) and recorded it making the sound again. They decided to send a person from another company for a second opinion. He saw the video showing the cracking noise reaching 88 Decibels. He opened the freezer and left it open until it cracked again, this time the sound was at 90 Decibels. When he called Samsung support for Tech advise, they told him the same thing - “THIS IS A NORMAL LEVEL SOUND”. He asked for documentation on this and they said they don’t have any. Then he asked how do you know its normal, to which they spoke to him for 5 minutes and I don’t know what they said…. I have his report which he included noticing it reach 90 decibels, that I signed and still have… I did get a refund after 6 months and 5 times of having someone come out. I got a Kitchen aid which is fine. Other then the enormous cracking the Samsung would have been the superior Refrigerator… when running its quieter and has a more solid feel and the freezer door is much nicer on the Samsung. I’m wondering if most people live in a two story house and the cracking does not bother them… if this was such a rare or factory defective thing, why didn't they just replace the refrigerator ?

Bought it in a local BestBuy on sale for $1,300, with free delivery, the first one arrived and none of the shelves would alien, so I had to call back and they came and brought the second one, the same problem except this one was better than the first one, the delivery people said I have to call the manufacturer for further help. I later noticed the drawers keep popping out from the rails……. As for the design, it’s great. However, it makes knocking sound all the time, at lease 6-8 times a day, which is annoying somehow. In addition, the water filter indicator is turned red, it means, I have to change it! After 3 months??? Are you kidding??? I have not use water or ice that much! When the ice maker needs to get water from the water line, it makes a loud noise, it’s impossible to keep the ice maker on at night! It’s that bad. I was gona call manufacturer, but due to medical problems, I have not yet, but I will.

very happy with the product. but customer service could use work. i had to call many time for delivery conformation and each time i called i was transferred to at least 3 different representatives.

Can find nothing wrong. The delivery people were great not a mark on the refrigerator.
