With the pandemic reducing production and availability in major appliances, I had the opportunity to do extensive research on many refrigerator options. Todays appliances have nicely improved over the years, and the cost has increased accordingly. An investment you hope, will suit your needs and endure the years to warrant that cost. Increasing that cost is a number of impressive features, some of which are seemingly more hype than practicality. A refrigerator/freezer has a simple function to perform. Convenience, ease of use, energy efficiency, and of course its esthetic appearance plays a major part of our decision. Yet, the acceptable cost plays the deciding part of the purchase. I have found other popular brands with similar features, and at a slightly lower price. However, after personally inspecting many units, side by side, it becomes very evident, the major differences is in the quality. This Samsung unit is put together with a durable construction that reflects an ability to last a number of years. There are a couple of minor discrepancies I can live with. But overall, it is the most suitable unit I have found. And, although many other companies offered the identical unit at a few dollars more or less, I purchased it at Best Buy. I was not concerned about price matching or other marketing rewards. It was all about the delivery of the product. I have had other appliances delivered by Best Buy, and noticed their explicit care they take in delivering and handling the unit. I am a retired building contractor, and have had many companies deliver material and appliances, only to find cost and availability secondary to the condition of that product when I received it. I did go the extra cost of a black stainless steel finish. It looks stunning. I have installed so many silver stainless steel appliances, I felt as if I were in a restaurant or a submarine. On a side note: In 1969, I bought a new Chevelle Malibu SS396, off the showroom floor for $400 less than this refrigerator. Just a memory that crossed my mind as I swiped my card.

This fridge is awesome. Since we've always rented, we've had a standard refrigerator forever. When we moved into our new house, we decided to go for a more premium fridge and I'm so happy we did. This thing is awesome. We've only had it for a few weeks but I'm in love. So much space and the flex cool drawer is perfect. We've been using it for beverages and it holds a ton. We love having a bunch of things to drink on hand - water, gatorade, energy drinks, beer - this thing is perfect for that. Anything taller than a standard soda can will need to be placed on its side, but the adjustable size mechanism in the drawer makes it so you can organize your beverages however you want. At the moment, we have probably 48 or more drinks in the drawer. Super easy to open and close too. The freezer is massive and I love the drawer at the top. It's perfect for bags of veggies or stacking microwaveable meals or frozen pizzas. To top it off, this fridge looks great in the kitchen. Perfect mix of fashion and function. A+ for Samsung on this one.

Had this fridge for about a month, so far so good, the middle drawer is Excellent for keeping drinks ice cold, really like the lit up interior. Has plenty of space, water and ice have been working great. Very quiet fridge, makes less noise then a countertop fridge I have, all in all very pleased.

Fingerprint resistant is only on the door handles! You will need to continue to clean the doors with a stainless steel cleaner. It is expensive, but our choices were limited by our space. It is a very nice refrigerator.

I've not had this Fridge for long, but it is very much handy to have and what I was looking for in a new Fridge: Long warranty, the extra drawer (That can be used for snacks, wine, sodas, keeping bottled water cold), and a french door to access the fridge Part (and the bottom freezer - which is accessible and useful with a drawer for such as ice cream that can be isolated from the rest of my frozen foods (and anything that I've flash frozen). I've not had any problems with the ice maker to date either (again, not even in the house a month at this time), so I can't speak to its reliability (although it is a smaller Ice Maker - but that's not a problem either).

This is the second one we bought of this same model. The last one lasted nearly 8 years, although the ice maker lasted less than half that time. Hopefully the ice maker has been improved, only time will tell. Because we are limited to 33" width in our kitchen, our options are limited when desiring a French door. We love the features, especially the middle drawer. Interior lighting is great. Freezer setup is really good, including the extra shelf on the door (something other brands don't have).

We absolutely love this fridge! So much space, but the middle drawer was our selling point. You can store wines, party platters, or whatever you need! Highly recommend!

Really nice refrigerator. We love it. really like how the door slide in and out on the bottom in the freezer accessible in the drawer in the center for cooling drinks.

After finding out that my available open space was literally 1/2 inch too narrow for a 36" refrigerator. I was happy to find this smaller 'mini-me' 33-inch version. It has a convertible drawer that can be used to either refrigerate or freeze. I like that it has an alarm in case it is left open and temps drop for some reason. The ice maker is not robust. I haven't had it long, so maybe it needs to cycle more. Too many fine pieces (looks like snow in the ice) in both the cube and the crushed.

Do not buy this refrigerator. The icemaker will freeze over and stop making ice as soon as the warranty is done. I have had the ice maker serviced twice and it is still broken. There's a class action lawsuit against Samsung for this defective ice maker. It's been a headache for 2 years!

Love it. External space saving 33 inch design that gave more than 2 added cubic ft. Quiet, high tech that works. Love the middle drawer.

very quiet, looks great too, easy to organize freezer and refrigerator sections. Refrigerator drawer is fantastic to use and organize.

We had to buy a fridge that was smaller than your average 36” and bigger I believe this one is around 33” wide. All of the other fridges were checked out looked very small inside. This one has plenty of room for a smaller fridge. It looks great and I dig the middle drawer that keeps things cooler than the fridge but not as cold as the freezer. The only downside is you cannot use any magnets on the fridge they won’t stick, so I’ve nowhere to hang my kids art.

So far this fridge is working ok. I've already noticed though that the ice in the ben is already sticking together. The overall look is beautiful. The refrigerator part is a little small, and the odd shaped door compartments are a challenge to get things to fit. Flex door part is ok, I'm just using it as another veggie place. Freezer size is good. I will update this regarding the icemaker if needed.

Best refrigerator we've owned! Well made as far as shelf design and door storage. Ice machine and water dispenser work great. Really a lot of space for a slightly smaller custom size like this. Our last fridge did not fit this much food. Sliding middle drawer takes a little getting used to (if you never had one before), but it's great for kids snacks. We got a heck of a deal on this at the Best Buy Outlet and couldn't be happier.

Very pleased with this purchase. Really like the design and the ample storage room. For a 33 inch wide fridge it has one of the largest square ft. of storage we could find. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because we've only had it a month and will reserve that for how it continues to work over time.

I love the look and the storage in this fridge. There are a couple storage bins which really restrict what you can put there, but that is expected with an ice maker, but other than that, the overall fridge gives me the space I so desperately needed. I am in love with the additional fridge drawer. I’m very organized and this drawer helps me keep things so neat.
