I'm hoping I'm lucky with this refrigerator. I love the showcase drawer feature, how all the shelves work, easy controls, and size. I can easily fit all our groceries. It's a huge improvement over the 2001 Kenmore Elite side by side fridge it replaces. It's also Energy Star rated, something that cannot be said of similar models from GE and LG. It's also gorgeous. On the other hand, due to an installation error corrected by Best Buy, the freezer drawer would not extend fully. It works fine now. Also, the door in door feature does not work properly. The outer door does not release occasionally from the inner door. This is a know problem with Samsung showcase refrigerators, although the floor models work properly. The secret is to give the handle a quick tug. The other thing is the many Samsung ice maker problems I have read about. That's why I hope I'm lucky with this one. It's also why I bought the maximum three year Geek Squad protection program.

This refrigerator rocks it! Best interior illumination of any I've seen. Shelves are just deep enough to hold a broad assortment of cold items without losing "back of the shelf stuff" that ages out unseen. Rock solid, sturdy doors, short swing radius. Double layered door for quick access to small items is handy. Bottom freezer section is deep and spacious with well thought-out drawers and dividers. Unit is stone silent, and looks classy with quality lights, handles, hinges and latches. There's a lot more to this unit than the price would suggest.

I read all the reviews and checked it against Consumer Reports- this was the highest rated for the style fridge we wanted. We already have a Samsung stove and love it and we love this fridge. The showcase door is handy for sodas and condiments you use daily so you don’t have to open the entire door.

All my TV's are Samsung therefore I wanted to purchase a Samsung Refrigerator. The LED lighting is awesome & the space inside the refrigerator & the freezer is very generous. I was glad it was offered in white. And the salesperson was extremely helpful & very knowledgeable about the product. This definitely helped me make a good decision.

Very happy with refrigerator, my wife loved, spacious and excellent interior lighting, keeps everything in temperature, easy installation definitely recommended!!!!

Awesome fridge but water dispenser drips water sometimes .

Great refrigerator. The french door makes this a real beauty. Refrigerator has plenty of room. The freezer bottom section is very spacious but the top pull out drawer is hard to reach.The icemaker provides ample ice. Once every hour for about 5 minutes the refrigerator makes a loud unpleasant noise. Great item when it is on sale.

Looks beautiful. Has lots of storage area and very nicely lit. I can hardly wait to fill it up with goodies.. Best decision I made on selecting this refrigerator.

I would give this fridge a 5 star review except of how it was delivered. The guys chewed up my old fridge moving it to the garage, didn't drop the feel/level the new one, and tried to leave w/o removing any of the plastic and tape off of it. Not to mention two small dents they put it in it (and messing up my front door a little) all of which we are dealing with BestBuy on. Otherwise it's a good fridge and does what we want much better than our 6 month old builder supplied side by side fried. I wish the shelves didn't interlock like they do so you have more flexibility in moving the shelves around w/o risking instability, but otherwise this is a big step of over the GE side by side our builder supplied us. the one other big surprise to us is the "steel" front is not magnetic at all like our GE fridge was. The magnets only work on the side which really irked us at first, but then we found LG was the same way. So... We bought some magnetic chalk boards to hand on our drywal next to the fridges because...kids stuff. :)

My wife and I looked at a lot of units before purchasing this offering from Samsung, we caught it on sale for Labor Day, saved some coin, and got the one we'd both wanted but just couldn't justify buying at "regular price". We opted for the delivery and installation from BestBuy since we have a split-level home and I just didn't want to drag this behemoth up the stairs to our front door. Delivery was within the allotted timeframe and once the guys got this monster in the house, they discovered what we already knew... The 6ft waterline (which was required to be purchased for delivery and installation) wasn't going to work because the waterline for our ice maker is approximately 15ft long wrapping around our kitchen cabinets from the sink to the fridge so.... we'll be returning the water line for a $35.00 refund but it was worth the temporary purchase for the delivery. Emptying our old "apartment-sized" 18cu/ft fridge as soon as the delivery guys called to say they'd be at our home in 20 minutes, we refilled this new Samsung as soon as the power and water were connected and we saved the ice in the ice maker tray from the old fridge to put into the bottom freezer of this unit to help cool the freezer while the refrigerator cooled to temp. The BestBuy team moved our empty old unit downstairs in the garage so we can use it for extra cold storage with sodas and other such items and we activated the "power cool" and "power freeze" options of the new Samsung unit to chill the new fridge as quickly as possible hoping we wouldn't have to go buy a whole new list of perishable items during the transition to the Samsung. We have a lot of fish and fresh vegetables that can be very temperamental to temperature changes so I was a little concerned.The Samsung unit reached temperature before the ice we saved from our old fridge even had the chance to melt and the items that were once in the freezer of our old unit (which usually chilled to around 0 degrees) we're at a solid -8 degrees Fahrenheit when we kicked the "power options" off. This is a beautiful unit, my wife couldn't be happier and of course a "happy wife makes for a happy life" so I love the unit as well.

for a refrigerator, space, tech, led lights, power saving. I just had a bad experience with the setup even after purchasing the service plan. I wasn't home but they didn't level it with the floor and said it wasn't their job. To me, it is, especially when I paid extra for the 5 year service plan. Beautiful refrigerator though, functionality is amazing.

I love this fridge but it has a problem with the "Door in Door's" closing properly. I mentioned it to the installer and he told me to call the Geek Squad, which I did the next day. They were pleasant but "educated" me on how gaskets in door in door fridges work. It has leaked every day since with condensation build up each day. I take a picture, wipe it off then repeat the next day. I haven't had a chance to call again because of the holiday but I need to have someone come and look at the doors that do not seal properly. I love the look of the Samsung but should have gone with my gut and purchased the LG, which had better reviews.

Samsung products are everything I thought they would be.

We went back and forth between the LG and the Samsung and ended up going with the Samsung. It has the bigger ice maker and a friend of ours has the LG and one thing you always bring to their house is a bag of ice.!!

For a unit with ice in the door it is nicely laid out. The design of the shelves is excellent making storage of tall items work with out rearranging everything.

The right door in door feature does not work like it should. The outer door does not separate smoothly when activated; has to be jerked outward to get the two doors to separate. Had to call a technician after having the fridge for a few days. Told the rubber seal was the problem. Got a replacement seal and it functioned worse than the original (now the two doors separate way too easily, so they separate when the both doors are opened together). It's been almost a month and still waiting on a fix. I will update after my next appointment with the tecnician.
