The initial appeal of this monitor was the built-in speakers and the combo HDMI & D-sub capabilities. I've purchased this monitor twice in two weeks. The speakers did not work at all the first time, and worked for five days before failing after I exchanged it for a new one. I called Samsung, and they could not resolve the issue OR find any record of the model or serial numbers in their system. Best Buy customer service recommended that I return it and not buy this model again, suggesting that this problem indicates an issue with this line of monitors. A pretty terrible experience all around.
