I have been an avid Samsung customer and would never buy any other brand of monitor. When I purchased this product, I did have my doubts considering that there are other LED TVs out there that are also 27 inches and had better resolution than the 1920 x 1080 pixels that this one offers. However, after testing it, this by far is the most eye-friendly monitor I have ever had. Just check out the comparison pictures that I have included in this post. Notice that in the older LED or LCD monitors, the background light is not at a constant and too bright. But for this model, there is consistency overall in the light.

This is one of the clearest displays I've seen. The curve isn't really noticeable until you open up a panoramic photo that you can cover the entire screen with. I did notice a difference, and it looked like the screen was halfway between a 2-D and 3-D view - hard to explain - and it is an improvement over flat screen technology. The monitor resolution is excellent for documents and other work-related or productivity apps. I do not regret this purchase whatsoever. It was good find.

Very subtle curvature lends a bit of depth to the desktop. Easy to set up and very responsive to the OS's power saving operation. HD resolution gives sharp images and no blurring was noted in normal video operations (i.e. YouTube and other web based video, as well as local files).

I absolutely love this monitor. The picture is perfect and I love the slight curve. You don't think it would make a difference but it does. My only tiny complaint about it is the stand makes the screen a bit wobbly if you have the keyboard on the same surface and you type.

so i was skeptical at first about these curved monitors... throw that out the window. this thing is the best monitor i've had, hands down. i was originally gonna get an apple 27", but then saw a samsung 27" 4k, better specs, and half the price. then i saw this samsung. read reviews on both, and decided that i'd rather save for a 4k tv, and i didn't need that in a monitor. this monitor is well worth your hard earned money. i've watched a few tv shows on it, when i'm too lazy to head to the living room, and it's so good. for all the people that gripe about the curve... you seriously can't even tell. if you're trying to choose between this, or a slightly cheaper, flat monitor, i'd say spend the extra. you'll be glad you did.

outstanding picture quality easy set-up the 'curve' does enhance the ability to tolerate long hours at the screen comfortably.

I purchased two other units before I wound up on this ... first one had a yellow cast to screen but problem couldn't be duplicated at store so I purchased a Samsung 27 but it didn't have the display port so i brought it back and picked up the curve ... this has a great display, you don't have to be directly in front of it to get a enjoy a great picture

The monitors are great, running three together and the response time is awesome. Great price for larger monitors. The curve and small bezel design was easy to get use to as well.

Purchased as a gift for person using a smaller, flat screen who has vision concerns. It has been an absolute, overwhelming improvement! Easy to hook up to computer. Color is wonderful; images are sharp and clear. So far, in the first month, completely trouble free.

while wondering the best buy store i saw this Samsung Curve 27" and thought that's a nice picture on the screen i wonder how it would look while playing my games... well i bought it got it home and quickly set it up and to my biggest surprise it looked even better then it did in the store while playing a game i was about to change the brightness and then saw the game mode setting and turned it on and when that happened it was like seeing the game for the first time couldn't believe it the only thing i dont like about it is how you turn it off but its no big deal and i will get used to it over time

I bought this to use with ps4. There is no lag that I can notice. Color and black levels are better than any other monitor I've had. Perfect for what I'm using it for. Even fine for cad drawings despite the curve. The curve is subtle but nice. I love the matte screen helps reduce eye strain

I am a PC gamer and had an IPS monitor before purchasing this curved monitor. The resolution on this thing is fantastic. I will say, along with some others, that the "curve" on the monitor is incredibly subtle and you really don't notice it while playing a game or watching a movie too much, however, the curve on it does give it that "finishing touch" that makes it stand out from other monitors. Price-wise, it's no surprise that it has a bit of a dollar amount attached to it (given that Samsung is simply like that), but I exchanged my monitor for this with my Geek Squad plan since they didn't have the IPS one anymore, so I paid a slight difference for this one. I don't regret it so far.

Easily the best bang for your buck in this category. Crisp smooth picture. I minor drawback is the base is a bit flimsy, but not that big of a deal.

This monitor exceeded my expectations 10x fold. The response time in game mode is perfect for console gaming. It's so easy to use too with the control on the back. But it's missing one thing... a remote.

I bought this monitor for a client who has vision problems. We met him at the store to look at various models and manufacturers. The curved screen, as well as the resolution, gave him the most clarity. Upon installing at his home, he was thrilled because he could enlarge the screen resolution on his computer and actually see the desktop icons and descriptions without having to use the magnifier. I plan on purchasing another of these monitors for my own office.

I really like the curve and glad I got it for my computer. Big, bright and I cannot believe the difference of having it for my eyes. Easier to see from any angle. Would recommend.

Generally I tell people to stay away from any monitors larger than 24" when working in 1920x1080 but this monitor has changed my mind. This is a 27" curved 1920x1080 monitor that is just gorgeous. The viewing angles, the gaming, the movies and TV shows are just fantastic on this monitor. I will be getting one for my son very soon after using this unit for a few weeks.

Color pops, curved monitor is spectacular even when it comes to just reading articles. The color pops and doesn't strain your eyes, maybe a little bright but looks great!

With the bigger computer monitors, having a curved screen seems to make it easier to focus on the full screen. The screen maintains a pretty constant distance from the eye, both center and edge of the screen. Response time is very good and clarity is excellent. I am not using the speakers that come with the monitor, so no input on their audio quality.

This was a great purchase - might be a little big for my desk but for the price I think it's a great deal - super clear, responsive and the integrated speakers are good
