I just love the monitor. It has the best clarity I've ever seen.

This monitor is working quite well with my Macbook Pro.

Overall this is a great monitor. Low volume/sound takes away from my rating.

Monitor did not work. It would turn on then go blank. It took one hour with tech support to diagnose the obvious. We asked a simple question on the power button but it took the tech one hour to diagnose the problem and admit the power button or power on feature was the culprit.

Great monitor with awesome picture quality and seemingly fast response times. I was skeptical about curved monitors but after buying and using for a week, it's totally worth it. HDMI and DVI hookups are great and you can have multiple devices connected to the various inputs. I'd buy it again.

This Samsung - 27 LED Curved HD Monitor is hands down the nicest monitor I've ever had. The picture is bright and crisp the response time is instantaneous, the "curve" is not at all gimmicky if you spend a lot of time in front of a large monitor you'll find it restful and easy on the eyes. With a flat monitor your eyes need to dart from side to side to see everything on the screen, the curve brings the sides in resulting in less eye movement and thus less fatigue. After a week I still say a little "Wow!" every time I turn it on. It's still that impressive to me. To the guy who said letters are "fuzzy" you need to adjust your Clear Type and let it "settle in" for a couple of days, they'll sharpen-up. The package is stunning even when off and almost a 100% picture with just a 1/2" gloss frame around it all wrapped in a brushed metal band. The back is matte cutting down on finger prints. The stand is adjustable with tilt making it quite versatile. The "joystick" controls are weird, but once you do your initial settings doesn't need to be bothered with again. The speakers are OK, but use desktop speakers if you play music or watch videos. I really shopped monitors before getting this Samsung. You won't find anything close to what this offers for less then twice the price

I have a surface pro 4 and decided to purchase this monitor to be used as a second display (extended display) when I work at my desk. First thing that got my attention is that the monitor is very bright, and the color are vivid! My monitor came out of the box at Maximum brightness settings, so I had to turn that down. I was very disappointed at the picture quality compared to my surface pro 4 display. I have a picture of the Osaka's Night Skyline as my wallpaper background and it looks very rough. The light does not have a soft edge, and the pictures actually looks terrible. Don't expect similar display quality as the Surface Pro, or Apple products with the Retina displays. (Not even close.) After researching this monitor more, I found out via samsung's site that this monitor's refresh rate is 60hz, not 120hz. You can save between $100-$150 by buying a 27" monitor with out the curve that has a native 1018p display at 60hz. The speakers on this monitor is very loud, which is a good thing. However, the sound quality is the same as the any other TV out there will stereo full range speakers in them. I've watched several episodes of the Big Bang Theory via Vudu using Chrome Cast, and I was satisfied with the picture quality. It was a pain to power the Chrome Cast since the monitor did not have a built in USB port that I could use as power. I can't recommend this to a friend since it's priced too high for what it offers. The price difference between the other 27" monitor is due to the curve screen, which gives it a unique look. (that's about it.) I'll will be returning this monitor back to Best Buy this weekend.

I love the picture quality. I took off 1 start because of the annoying blinking blue light when it is on standby. When I turn off my computer, the screen goes black, but the blue LED light in front will keep on blinking until you physically press the power button in the back to turn off the monitor. This light is bright and I cannot sleep with a bright blue blinking light shining throughout my room. Then next time you turn on your computer, you would need to push the power button again. How can Samsung be this careless?

Curved monitor is very very attractive with a great picture. You can really fine tune the colors and contrast which is a plus! Only down side is i wish the black levels were a bit darker.

very good monitor had some reservations about paying $300 for a monitor but im very happy with the way it looks

Horrible performance for a monitor. It only worked for one month in an office environment, Best buy claim it was hit but that was not true. Best Buy just disregard the complaint and say they could not help. Only one month of service and the retailer does not stand behind product. Be careful !!!!!!

I can't believe it. I have both the s27d590c and s27d590 (non-curved version). The non-curved version is much better quality. If you are looking for good quality image don't get it.

I love this monitor. It doesn't take up too much space on my desk. I like the connectability to audio, HDMI, etc.
