I really like this monitor. The picture is bright, clear, and the colors look amazing. Games feel very smooth, and everything responds quickly with no lag or blurry motion.

I went from a 144Hz IPS panel to this and it's not even close. The 500Hz makes everything feel effortlessly smooth — mouse movement, flick shots, even just dragging windows around the desktop. In competitive shooters it genuinely feels like the display is keeping up with me instead of the other way around. The OLED panel is the real story though. Blacks are actually black, not dark gray, and HDR content has a punch to it that my old monitor couldn't touch. Colors look accurate out of the box without much tweaking. I was a little worried about reflections since my desk sits near a window, but the glare-free coating handles it well — I can play during the day without fighting my own lamp. Setup was painless. G-Sync worked immediately with my NVIDIA card, no tearing at all. QHD at 27" is the sweet spot for me: sharp text, and my GPU can actually push frames high enough to take advantage of the refresh rate, which wouldn't happen at 4K. Burn-in was my main hesitation before buying, but Samsung clearly thought about it — the screen dims on idle, and it automatically dims static elements like taskbars. Several months in and no issues. Only minor notes: the stand tilts and adjusts fine but I'd have liked a bit more range, and there's only one DisplayPort. Neither has actually bothered me in daily use. If you're on the fence, this is worth it. Highly recommend.

The monitor was really good with a fluid image, the brightness was perfect, the game looked more realistic, and the movement was much better. Unfortunately, the button on the back for the menu broke, but overall, it was the best monitor I've ever bought.

I love the colors this monitor has, and a 500hz cap is nice to have, but even with a ryzen 9 9950x and a rtx9070xt I rarely hit 500 in any of the games I play. Most decently optimized games i can hit ~450 but its not super noticeable compared to 240. Colors are super vibrant and I have had no issues at all, no burn in or anything as of now.

the high refresh is great, the brightness is incredibly high and the input delay is very minimal. whats not to like.

First, you shouldnt buy this monitor at 1000USD and if you dont at the bare minimum have a TOTL pc. OLEDs have gotten all across the board with new panel generations that everything is good. As for the monitor itself, its light, bright, and Samsung has without a doubt the best implementation for I/O. It should be standard to stop shrouding the data connections pointing at the ground. Make it easy to see so people dont have to oddly bend their neck. Also, if someone is complaining about seeing a matte coating they're lying or literally using a magnifying glass for eyesight correction. You cannot see the matte coating like on the G80SD. You can see it and diffuses light like reviewers have shown. Dont think too much about it. If you want 2K, 500hz this monitor doesnt miss.

This monitor is absolutely amazing, the refresh is so clean, and the colors are absolutely golden.

Have always used IPS monitors with high refresh rate as im usually playing fast competitive games. Heard from many people that OLED is a step up in quality and decided to buy this. Did not disappoint at all. Still has a high refresh rate and with the quality being bumped up to 11, I can play high quality single player games as well. You can tell the difference out of box from regular monitor to an OLED. If you're thinking of getting one, I'd recommend this one.

Upgraded my PC and mistakingly bought the monitor last. Motion is super smoother, colors are great. Brightness has not been an issue but I close my blinds, I came from an older benq which was way worse, so I don't mind the matte screen vs glossy thing personally. As a side note best buy listed it as like new in box, and unlike Amazon and other retailers they are very accurate in their assessments from what I've seen. Monitor was flawless and everything included. 10/10 for both best buy and the monitor.

Beautiful panel being QD-oled but has the anti gloss display is great. Won’t ever hit 500 fps but still a nice thing.

The panel is exceptional, great motion clarity and color quality. The only downside to this monitor is horrific UI and controls, there is next to no customizability for the colors or response rate.
