||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This fridge lasted about 3 years before it started to show issues with cooling and ice maker, but not enough to make me think it was a major issue. However, after 4 years I quickly discovered that the cooling design of the fridge causes it to condensate and build up ice on the cooling coils which now has me removing all my food, and removing the cover to "defrost" the refrigerator every month otherwise the fan starts to make a terrible noise because it's hitting all the ice that is build up on the condenser coils. The ice maker is also susceptible to ice build up and has to be defrosted every 2 weeks otherwise it isn't able to properly eject the ice from the ice maker and thus freezes up and stops producing ice. Samsung makes decent TVs but stay away from home appliances IMHO.
