It still has an ice cube maker, but it's small and still leaves a lot of storage space available. The inside of the fride/freezer is very spacious and I've had no issue with storing food inside.

First one didn't work at all from day one (wouldn't cool). Tech verified it was defective and swapped it out. Replacement will not make ice. Water exit that fills the ice tray is frozen shut. Just terrible design. Don't get this fridge. Two stars for appearance and space lol.

To ensure optimal performance, we strongly advice setting the temperature to 0 °F (-18 °C) for the freezer, and 37 °F (3 °C) for the fridge.

You will notice how large it is when you transfer your food from the older frig. So much more space because you have a small ice maker and not water dispenser. Without the water dispenser there are no holes in the door so it also high efficiency.

And somehow, I cannot get all the plastic off.... There is also a small knick on the door that looks like the finish is peeling off

(16 and 5) which isn't enough volume to really work with. So i bought the 28 cu. ft. Samsung for the garage. it's a beautiful appliance with a huge freezer and spacious refrigerator compartment that really make meal planning much easier. my only complaint is that it tripped every code required ground fault interrupter that it was plugged into to include two brand new ones on dedicated circuits. Hmmmm. keep refrigerator or be code compliant? no problem, i replaced the GFI with a standard outlet and all is well with the world.
