    For some unknown reason, the monitor connects when I start up my laptop, but when I put it to sleep, the monitor does not reconnect to the laptop. I can't reconnect without restarting.

      1) Check if your graphics card has any updates available. If updates are available, install them. If you require help installing your graphics card updates, please contact your graphics card manufacturer.

      2) Perform a Windows Update. Visit Microsoft's online update page, and then follow all on-screen prompts.

    Garage! Monitor constantly blacks out. I sent in under warranty repair they 'repaired' it and I get back and its worse. Blacks out more and now and now get distortion like a TV that can't get great reception!
