Customers are saying

Customers admire the 28” ViewFinity UHD IPS AMD FreeSync with HDR Monitor's picture quality, color vibrancy, and value for its price, frequently praising the HDR capabilities and ease of use. However, some users express concerns regarding the refresh rate and the monitor stand's sturdiness. Additionally, the lack of built-in speakers and the placement of the VESA mount have drawn criticism, as has the input switching mechanism.

    Excellent All Purpose Monitor

I primarily purchased this monitor for use with my PS5. I play video games, stream shows and watch 4K movies all from my PS5 (disc drive console). The picture is consistently phenomenal and can get pretty bright when using HDR. I highly recommend this monitor. Only gripes? I wish it had a built in aimpoint feature for gaming. Oh yeah, I wish the VESA mount space on the back was square shape. On the othe hand, the stand is well capable of holding the monitor just fine. Those are not a cons though because even my brothers both purchased one after seeing mine and they are just as happy.

Great 4K monitor if you Buy DisplayPort cable too

This monitor is excellent for the price. I originally bought one to replace my main monitor (I have 3) thinking that would be the one I do most of the work on, however, moving windows from a UHD to an FHD screen causes it to re-size itself and becomes a pain. I ended up buying 2 more of these monitors, so now I have all 3 the same. The one thing I did not like was the stand, which is not adjustable, and even with all 3 monitors using the same stand, they did not line up next to each other well. I ended up replacing all the stands with adjustable ones which are not also not as deep. All in all I love my setup, whether I am working or playing games. Would recommend. Removing 1 star because it ships with a HDMI cable and you need DisplayPort cable for 4K

I needed a monitor for my mid-2015 MacBook Pro, and this monitor works great and was so easy to set up. All I had to do was plug in the HDMI cord to the Mac that came with the monitor and I was up and running. It connects every time the Mac is opened. I can mirror the monitors or use as separate monitors where the mouse goes back and forth from the Mac to the 28” monitor. The monitor is clear for reading text and using for Photoshop/Lightroom projects. The 4K was a must for me for clarity, and I’m so happy that I purchased this monitor. No regrets whatsoever!

This Samsung monitor is fabulous. High resolution, excellent colors, easy to navigate controls. I liked this monitor so much that I purchased a second one. Two 28” monitors and a 15” laptop is the perfect setup for Virtual classes. I highly recommend this to friends and family.

    Minimalist Monitor, Terrible Stand

The monitor itself is great. I needed a monitor for work, so I don't need high refresh rates or incredibly contrasty pixels - I just wanted something that can show me code without hurting my eyes. This monitor is great at that. I wish it had usb ports so I could plug in my keyboard but I don't _really_ need them. The stand is garbage. It's wobbly, and not adjustable. It tilts the monitor down by a couple degrees. I was hoping it wasn't as bad as the other reviews say but it is. Get a monitor arm with this and you're golden.

Spending $700 on 2 monitors was not the plan but after purchasing and returning cheap Lenovo monitors... I knew that this is not an area where I should compromise especially when I spend 7 hours a day staring at them for work. I have them set up on the Mount It! dual monitor stand and I see a lot of concerns about the vesa hardware issue. Honestly I just screwed them in as far as they would go without bending the mount or damaging the monitors and they are secured on even with a little gap. So the standard 75mm/100mm hardware worked for me. I added pictures.

Excellent monitor, wall mount holes not so great

Excellent monitor, but the recessed rear 75 x 75 mounting holes are a pain. I use a wall mount behind my computer desk. I had to use my metal-cutting bandsaw to trim the monitor attaching plate to fit in the recess around the four mounting holes. The holes are also positioned higher than those on my previous monitor so I had to make a spacer to raise the monitor closer to my desired eye level. Once I had the monitor mounted, I found the actual performance is fine. At 28 inches, it is, of course, larger than any previous monitor I have used. I started out in 1985 with an Amiga 1000 and 13" monitor and have upgraded many times over the decades. I am happy with this latest monitor now that the mounting issues are resolved.

Everything is just more than I expected. And I think it’s anti glare too even there’s a No in specifications. Just one more thing: if you want to use the Monitor Desk Mount make sure that you are buying the absolute Vesa Wall Mount “75mmx75mm”. DO NOT BUY the 100mmx100/75mmx75mm. It wil not fit the circle in the back of the monitor.

This is one of the better monitors that I have tried out. The colors are so vibrant and the picture quality is excellent. I use this monitor for my Xbox One X and it's simply just beautiful. It has free sync, HDR10, 4k UHD with 60 hz . You can't go wrong with this monitor.

Good image quality and look. Be aware that the on screen menu is not the best, especially for frequent input changes. Also, the VESA mount. It is not centered which may make it difficult to use monitor stands and the shape may require you to alter your mounting plates. I took after my plates with a bench grinder. (See the photo). Good buy when they are on sale. I liked them enough to have a pair.

I bought this as a gift for my husband as he has been, and will continue, to be teleworking due to the pandemic and could benefit from a new monitor to that would attach to both the laptop he uses from work and his personal computer (which he also uses for some work tasks). Between work and personal use he can be online for about 9 to 10 hours a day. For his work there is considerable less eye fatigue now and he can run both computers on the monitor at the same time in various configurations. He easily runs multiple windows for excel, word, outlook, teams, and zoom. For his personal use he loves that he can watch videos in 4k after work. Its 28 inches a a good size for him. For light gaming he has enabled freesync on the monitor and g-sync on his personal computer and it works. He says the trick to get it working with NVidia is to use the display port instead of the HDMI port. The monitor has a 60MHz refresh rate which is more than enough for what he does. It is an excellent monitor for the price and a picture of his home office setup is attached.

It's a decent monitor for the money. No fancy features like USBC or anything like that. But a nice quality, bare bones 4k monitor. I used it for gaming and also a little productivity. 60hz refresh so if you're a serious gamer, look elsewhere.

Was looking for a 4K monitor to use with my M1 MacMini that didn't cost a fortune. Found this one. Pros: Easy setup, great picture, solid brightness, text is great on it. Cons: the controller is a bit awkward and the monitor is pretty slow when awakening from sleep

Love it!! After trying a 2k monitor and a VA Panel 4k monitor I found this glorious thing. I don't play video games or edit videos so I can't speak to how it performs in those areas; however, for spreadsheets, word docks, trading websites and such it is awesome. So clear, so crisp, so awesome. The only thing I don't care for is the non-adjustable stand; it has a large footprint and is rather tall. I bought an after-market adjustable stand for $20 from a well known online retail and problem solved. Best IPS 4k monitor value around.

I now have 3 of these monitors. I think I got it initially because it was an affordable 4K monitor. I’ve since built a 3 monitor setup using 3 of them. I’ve dropped one on the desk and only the housing was slightly dented but it still performs fine. The power supplies/adapters are pretty unique and allow for a bit of cable management. Accessing the cables in the back is a little tough if everything is in place because it is all recessed. If you have a monitor light bar forget about inverting this monitor because the menu button is in the center and your light bar will press against it. I can’t really speak on the stand because I’ve never used it. All of my monitors are always vesa mounted. All in all I’d say it is a good monitor.

I love this monitor! I don't know if I needed a 4k monitor with the business work that I do, but it's impeccably sharp and I feel like I'm treating myself to a high class working environment. Since I'm working from this monitor all day every day, I think it was a great investment. Features I like: - Eye saver: It has a feature that cuts out the blue light, which is really helpful for me. The brightness is still bright even with this feature turned on. - Brightness: I work right next to a window with a lot of natural light coming in and I was looking for a monitor that was bright enough to combat this. This one is! - Size: I'm a fan of the 28inch size. I was debating on getting a 32 inch in combination with my laptop on a stand, but this one is a great size with the 4k resolution. The font size is able to become smaller or larger than normal (and still clear) on this monitor and I can fit everything I need and more on this screen. - Design: I like the minimal bevel a lot. It looks sexy on my desk (I think). It is easily mountable, and I mounted it to a fully Jarvis monitor arm. - Controls: You control the monitor through a button on the bottom that I think is really easy to use and intuitive.
