Oven hood

Also, the "1" setting doesn't work. It seems like it doesn't have enough power to start so to use it, i have to use the "2" setting then go down.

Terrible product

Instead we got something someone had installed and returned (shouldn't we have gotten open box price then? There's a sticker on it showing that Best Buy inspected it). Unfortunately, we didn't open it until we were ready to install it and it's in terrible shape, but we missed the return date. We're out the $200 because we can't use it in this condition. I would recommend looking somewhere else.

Nice looking, but loud

We only use 1st level because 2 and 3 are too loud. Note that it's very short, so we have a bit of an unfinished wall gap under the bottom of the hood. Simple to operate. Good for the price.

Easy to setup, good CFM for the price point

Easy to setup, and has worked well so far with the three settings helpful based on what we cooking. LED lights is key too to have long lasting light— in fact our old range hood had halogen bulb size that could not be replaced!

Samsung 29 Inch under cabinet Range Hood SS

The LED lights are amazingly bright, and the exhaust is quite powerful. Installed with venting to the outside of my home, and it made a huge difference over the old recirculating range hood! It looks great in Stainless Steel, and matches my new LG Stainless Steel smart slide-in electric range/oven!

No Samsung logo and not stainless steel

Also, the "SAMSUNG" logo on from was missing, God know which brad the item is. All this we noticed after the plumber guys installed it. When I went to Best Buy and reported on this, they were of no help. gave me the Samsung head office ph# to call them or return the product. We spent $1000 on plumber to install this with duct work etc. Not shopping with Best Buy anymore. AMAZON

Sleek and Modern

It is sleek and modern, with a quiet fan and 3 levels of lighting. A perfect finish to our kitchen project. Be mindful of whag products are used to clean, as it is a true true stainless steel, and some streak marks cab be left behind when using improper products (These do go away).

Patience

Turned out one week Turned to 2wks, and then received a message that my order would be delayed till November 8th. At first i was frustrated but then realized it was out of their control. Will wait the extra weeks because I've had a good experience with bestbuy. Also my order was damaged on arrival which bestbuy arranged to replace. Customer service was supportive as always.

Damaged product and poor customer service

The best buy technician insisted that they will compensate me by giving me a re-circulating kit instead of a new item with no damage. 3 months later I am still waiting to resolve this issue. I did not receive any compensation and they refuse to replace the damaged item. I've had to reschedule at least 5x at this point with no progress. The last technician literally arrived to tell us they don't have the item.
