I've had this product for two months now, and I'm really glad I have it. Before buying this product, I talked to a very knowledge sales rep in Pacific Sales department of Best Buy store. This Samsung product is greatly influenced in design by a high-end product that used to be made by DACOR. For example, the High-end knobs. The nice blue LED lights to illuminate the knobs is probably Samsung's design influence on the product. IMPORTANT: Before the delivery crew actually installs your cooktop, make sure you tell them to wait until you can get the serial number from the back-right side of the product. Once the product is installed, it's not possible to get this information. You'll have to get the product uninstalled again (yes, pulled out again) just to get at that serial number. This serial number is required by Samsung for them to honor their warranty. Also, make sure the installers provide you with all items from the box, e.g. Wok Grate. One model of this product comes with this Wok Grate, and the other does not come with a Wok Grate. Mine was supposed to come with one, but I wasn't given this Wok Grate by the installers. This wasn't Best Buy's fault, but may have been the fault of either Delivery crew that installed this product or Samsung not including it in their product box. After some back and forth with Best Buy, they ordered me a Wok Grate and I eventually received it in the mail at no charge. Thanks Best Buy!

5 burners, super hot, front controls...stands a bit tall on the counter top, but we've adjusted. The griddle and wok grate are very nice additions. Matches out other Samsung stainless appliances nicely. it's wifi enabled but the app is kind of useless, no controls, just shows if the burners are on..

This is certainly a beautiful looking cooktop. The black stainless finish, and blue LED lights make it really pleasing to look at. The BTU output on this cooktop is almost double the previous cooktop I had- the burners are very powerful and heat things up very quickly. You just have to be careful with the placement of pot handles if you are using multiple burners simultaneously. I've been using it for about a month now, and it is pretty easy to clean. Overall, it's a great cooktop. I was not able to successfully connect the Smart features to my phone though (not that it is necessary).

The cooktop is very solid and nice looking. The middle burner is especially powerful. However, the ignition/heat control knobs are very prone to accidentally turned on when accidentally brushed by the operator. In order to turn on the gas, the knob needs to be depressed and turned anti- clockwise; this spring holding the knob in off position is too soft and can be easily depressed - allowing the knob to be turned clockwise and light up the burner or worse, if the burner did not turn on, the gas may escape undetected. This is a very serious flaw. I hope the manufacturer sees this review and take immediate action to correct this design flaw - like using a stronger spring on the knob so that it will take a more deliberate and forceful action by the operator to ignite the burner. I would not recommend this product until this design flaw is corrected.

Very solid cooktop. It would be nice if the grate did up reach so high up from the cooktop itself, but overall very good burners and very easy to use.

It's beautiful and well crafted. It does as stated and excels at it.

Small but designed well to get 2 large pans on it at the same time.

Love my Samsung Gas cooktop, this has variable flames for each burner and the wok station in the middle is perfect. The extra griddle for the stove top is a real plus, easy to clean, easy to use, love this cooktop

I read several reviews and wanted to replace my 25 year old cook top. I decided on the Samsung because of the appearance and the power. I brew beer, so the 22000 center burner makes a huge difference for boiling compared to what I had. I have a couple minor splatters on the top which I am not having luck removing. Maybe with a stronger cleaner, but I don't want to scratch it either. I'll have to call for advice from the company. Overall, very pleased with this.

After researching both induction and gas 30” units, I selected this Samsung 30” gas cooktop in black stainless steel. So far it has lived up to it’s high ratings and even though I converted from electric to gas, installation was straightforward. I shopped this unit at four local retailers and Best Buy had the best price, so I thought. Two days before delivery I found it on sale at Lowe’s for less. Given it was a Special Order item, I guess I’ll chaulk that up to Stupid Tax.

We had a really terrible cook top which was part of the "contractor" special that came with the new house. This is one of the first things we upgraded. Glad we did. It is very nice and so much better than the cheap one we had. Only knock is the app feature is sort of useless. Basically just tells you if the stove is on or not.

This range is by far the best range we have ever used. The power of heat from the middle burner is significant and takes making dinner to the next level. The best addition we have made to our new home!

Read reviews on this cooktop and decided it was what I wanted. Easy to install and works flawlessly. Such an improvement and nothing but compliments from company.

I've had this product for about a month, It's awesome, super simple to connect the wifi, allows you monitor your cooktop on your phone. Great power in the middle burner and the other burners are super efficient as well.

Works great. Looks great. Be sure you have a strong hood vent above if you plan on using multiple burners at once.

I really enjoy the 5 burner feature. Even better the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth option.

We paid more to have high end stuff and have several samsung appliances. It works well; potent. We'd had no issues with other products BUT on this one the knobs broke after just 16 months (warranty only 1 yr) and cost almost $200 each ($176 +tax). Visible part is stainless steel but stem that connects it to the valve inside is made of plastic, so bound to break after a while. Repair with service cost basically same price I paid for this brand new cooktop a little over 1yr ago. I called Samsung customer service and they said they "have heard some complaints about this" but at this point in time there's no recall/open claims so they can't provide new knobs since outside of warranty.
