    I always buy Samsung products since they have proven to be very reliable. I also purchase the extended warranty since I had one big screen Samsung go bad on me and since I had the 5-year extended warranty the TV was replaced at no cost to me other than what I paid for the insurance, which was a minimal cost compared to the cost of the TV.
