Pro's: I'm a mid 70 year old with no experience with "Smart TV's". Having said that, I think this is a very good TV for the price. I bought it so I could ditch my old (not smart) TV and drop my cable TV bill. Works great with my modem/router & sound bar I bought from Best Buy. As inexperienced I was about making connections, it was not too bad. It came with pretty straight forward unpacking & installation guide.
Con's: Samsung's operating instructions "Not Too Good" for someone (like me) not familiar with today's latest technology. But me and Google figured it out.
The remote is tiny and hard to hold. Fortunately my retiring 12 year old Samsung TV remote works a lot of the features on this new TV. Overall: Very pleased with my TV. The small remote is my only disappointment.

Good picture, bad software

Picture's great, but my Vizio from 2015 has better software than this.
The TV is fully updated, but struggles to connect to the wifi every time I turn it on (5 feet from the router). It gets hung up and freezes while navigating through the settings occasionally, especially when trying to get it to connect to wifi. When it does connect, you can enjoy the ads on the home page.
The TV sporadically stops sending a signal to my sound bar, which doesn't resolve until I unplug the TV's power and plug it back in. The soundbar is connected with an optical cable, but the TV won't send it a signal with the audio output set to "optical" - only when it's set to "TV speaker".
Also the criterion channel app is unusable on certain releases of the Tizen software, which apparently has been an issue for YEARS, so if you're planning to watch Criterion on a Samsung TV then I wish you the best of luck lol

While the picture is still great at 4K, it does not do HDR at 4K. You get HDR at 1080 but not 2160. The remote is awkward and I am not a fan of the solar charging. My remote is not exposed to enough light so I have to charge with a USB C cable "not provided". Please just make remotes with standard replaceable batteries. The sound is good. Got a great deal on this as an open box.

Perfect Bedroom TV

I’ve had this tv for about a month now and so far, so good. The set up process was easy enough though there are some features I haven’t played around with yet. I got this to replace another brand smart tv in the bedroom that only lasted a couple of years that was a replacement for a 15+ year old Samsung. The picture quality is very nice, far superior than the tv it replaced. I have a sound bar attached (previous tv required it for decent sound) but, the short time I tried the audio it was good. There are a couple of things I don’t care for. The remote and its sparse instructions are disappointing and confusing. I do like that it’s rechargeable. Though it doesn’t come with a cable I have plenty around from other devices that use the same type. I was surprised to discover that the remote controls my Roku though I have no recollection of setting that up. Yes, I know I don’t need a streaming device for a smart tv but all of my apps are set up on it already and I just had to “plug and play”. Speaking of streaming, most of the apps I use are available on the tv and when I did get around to setting them up, they were easy to connect and worked as they should. The other thing I don’t care for is the Home Screen interface…it’s clunky, for lack of a better word, and with the remote, it requires too much clicking about to get where you’re going…perhaps there’s a learning curve. One feature I really like is the Ethernet port so I can have a wired connection when needed.
I would definitely recommend this tv. If I needed to replace one of my other tv’s I’d buy this one again.
It’s sleek looking. It’s lightweight but sturdy. I’m not a techie or a sound and video expert but with the sound bar attached I almost feel like I’m in my own personal theater. I hope this Samsung last as long as the previous one I had. I have another Samsung in a different bedroom that’s been going strong for 12+ years so the odds are in my favor.
Bottom line, it looks great, sounds good and does what I need in the size I needed.

I purchased this TV on sale at $80 off, plus I had a get $25 back after spending $250+ offer from my American Express at Best Buy. From my understanding, this is the only 4KUHD 32" television currently out on the market. Movies streaming on 4KUHD look and sound great on this television. The picture quality looks best looking at the TV head-on; the picture quality decreases if watching TV at an angle. Also, cable channels not in HD will not look great on this TV. There are several picture and sound adjustments on this TV. No Roku is necessary as it is easy to download all your streaming apps on the main home screen. The only thing I do not like about this TV is the inability to widen the screen on channels that are not in HD on cable.

Samsung 32 in. TV review

My 5 star rating takes into account the minimal quality 32 in. tv’s on the market. I believe this is the best based on my research. The most important aspect of any tv is picture quality. Out of box picture is set at standard. I changed to dynamic to get brighter picture. An online reviewer suggested it be set in the movie mode , which was good suggestion because it brought warmth to the picture. Also, picture must be watched head on and not at angle because picture quality decreases greatly. I downloaded an additional app but it didn’t appear on home screen. I had to go into e- manual to figure it out. The remote is from hunger and annoying. But if you need second tv and limited for space, this is the one to get. It’s worth the extra money.

Bought this to replace an older 32" Samsung that had gone bad. the installation was quick and easy even installing it ti my existing wall mount. the picture quality is outstanding with clear and sharp picture and excellent display of colors. The only down side is that there is no longer a numerical keyboard on the remote, like the old TV, that allowed quick access to channels when using an antenna. This means you have to search thru the station listings to find your channel.

I've always sworn by Samsung picture quality, and this 32" 4K Samsung Q60C is NO SLOUCH!!!!! This TV's picture, (currently in HD ONLY, we don't have a 4K Source, yet), is the sharpest picture of all of the TVs in our family. (Including this set, we have four TVs.) We are slowly moving up to 4K, and once all our home equipment is 4K ready, we will be upgrading our source, (DISH Network), to 4K as well. I HIGHLY recommend the Samsung Q60C QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. (Colors seem more crisp, as well.)

I bought this in 32” form to go with a new Playstation 5 and also fit in the constrained space of my home office desk. It replaced about a 10 year old 1080P 24” PC monitor so obviously the difference was amazing. The 4k resolution in such a small screen at desktop viewing distance looks great. If you’re looking for a good small TV to pair with a next gen console at a desk and not break the bank like I was in fall 2023, look no further you found it.

I'm not using the remote, after a day it is torture to use, using a samsung remote from a older n5300, too small, to many moves to do a simple channel change. Can not get the picture and color sent right, picture is dull when using cable or samsung tv channels. Netflix looks great but still have problems with ESPN+.
ESPN says it must be the tv, ESPN works fine on my older n5300 tv. Can only be viewed straight on, washed out from the sides. The picture controls is less than on the n5300, an still can not get contrast right. Purchased june 10. Spent over 3 hours getting it setup. The remote is to small and to many moves to get something done, as I mentioned. Using ethernet only, turned off wifi, would do funky channel change on its own.

Hi RayNewnan,
We appreciate you taking the time to provide a detailed review of the Q60C TV. Please know your feedback will be shared with our internal teams. I have a few recommendations that may improve your experience.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update. Then I recommend running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.
Next, you may want to try adjusting image settings to improve your picture.
Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments 2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments 3. Eco: Provided to save energy 4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room 5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.
If the product’s colors or absolute whites/blacks seem to be off, run a Picture Test: Home > Menu > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Picture Test
Check whether Grayscale is set to On: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Grayscale.
Finally, please know that many of the buttons on your remote have multiple functions. For example, you can push the Volume button UP/DOWN to adjust the volume, and to MUTE the sound; you need to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for longer than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appear. Pressing the RETURN button (looks like a curved, backward-facing arrow) returns you to the previous menu; pressing it while watching a program will take you back to the previous channel.
I hope these tips improve your experience; if you continue to have issues, please give us a call so we can better support you. You can call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.
