Returned the monitors because I did not like. Received a call from an unknown number several weeks later. Someone purchased the monitors and found out it was previously mine and was not able to get into the monitor without a pin number. I would have thought Bestbuy would have wiped all info before selling the used equipment. I should have known better and did this myself. Shame on you Bestbuy. As far as the monitors went, I thought they were junk for the money spent on them. Purchased a LG 45 curved monitor. It is much nicer than the Samsung monitors mind you all of my equipment I own is Samsung.

Screen quality 5/5 Sound quality 1/5 Worse than any other feature is if you (like me) have a Samsung tv nearby both will react to your actions via the remote! I tried numerous IR blockers but doesn't work.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear that your SolarCell Remote is powering your Samsung TV nearby. Since this remote uses infrared (IR) signals, it may unintentionally control other Samsung TVs in close range – especially if they’re in the same room or line of sight.
While the IR function cannot be paired to a specific Monitor, there is a helpful workaround. If both devices have been added to the SmartThings app on your mobile device or tablet, you can use the app’s remote control feature to control each device individually. This method uses a direct Wi-Fi connection and helps avoid interference with other devices.
To set this up, open the SmartThings app, add your Monitors if you haven’t already, and use the in-app remote under each Monitor’s control panel.
