Big and wide. So much space, I could cry. The curve just hugs my eye. :)

Had to return item because my laptop could not get wide screen function. Otherwise always great products from Samsung.

First of all, let me say 21:9 is an amazing aspect ratio. This monitor's form factor and size are one of the best around. The curve on this monitor is actually better than most of the competition as it's a 3 meter radius curve (called R3000 - or 3000mm basically). The competing Dell comes in at R3800 - so a more subtle curve. The sammy's curve is better IMHO. This monitor has pretty decent viewing angles considering the technology (VA panel) in use. There's also very minimal backlight bleed. However for me, that's where the pros end. I really wanted to like this display, as the Dell does have backlight bleed and worse contrast ratio, but the subpixel arrangement on this monitor leaves text very blurry. Some might not notice it, or be bothered by it, but side by side with a more traditional monitor the text is just plain dull and blurry. For my usage (more text than movies or gaming) it was a killer for me. This would probably be a great monitor for movies/games, as the sound is really quite good, and contrast/color is decent as well. There was no ghosting or motion blur, so if text/coding isn't a primary use case, then this monitor would be a good fit. The competition however offers better connectivity, newer standards, displayport uplink and USB3 KVM, while this sammy offers a display port and 2 hdmi ports that can't do the native resolution/refresh rate combo. Unfortunately for me the text blurriness was a killer.

At first it was great! I did notice some ghosting, but it wasn't bad. It is a VA so that is typical for that type of screen. The issue I had was the flickering, it would completely spaz out periodically, so it had to go back.

I LOVE this monitor. Great size. Great resolution. Great picture. HDMI, DisplayPort connections. I have three of these now and swear by them. Get it when its on sale!

So i bought this on sale luckily but i have to say the monitor is well worth the money. I have been looking for an utlrawide monitor for quite some time and I finally pulled the trigger. This monitor is a beast though the monitor has amazing depth and is super responsive for gaming. I mainly use this for graphic intense gaming and this monitor totally delivers. If you are in the market for an ultrwide to replace your two monitor set up I do recommend this monitor.
