We recently moved home and installed all new appliances in the kitchen from Samsung including the 36" Range Hood in Stainless Steel. The hood really completes the look and feel of the kitchen and I really like that Samsung added Bluetooth connectivity although we unfortunately needed to remove the Wi-Fi module from the cooktop as due to an insufficient counter depth. The hood is extremely powerful and the lights are bright. It would have been five stars if there was an option to dim the lights but that doesn't appear to be possible.

I bought a Samsung cooktop and the hood in black stainless steel. The black color comes off if while cooking hot food splatters. Samsung doesn’t return calls and won’t replace it. Don’t buy this product.

Great hood, does a really good job of eliminating unwanted odors. Like feature of syncing to cooktop. Light is really bright so you can see food. Well built. Only issue I had was cleaning residue from protective plastic. I took about 2 hours to clean it all off.

Pretty loud vent, but it works. I don’t know how to connect it yet to my Samsung cooktop, can’t find it in the app, Careful when you touch the vent opening. They easily came off and fell on my induction cooktop. (Ack! Not covered by warranty or geek squad.)

Recently did a renovation and bought this Samsung vent to match with the rest of our Samsung products. It looks great and works well. Basically everything i asked for with a timer and light. I haven't tested out the bluetooth connection yet though as i haven't needed to use it. Highly recommended.

We are building a new house and was not real sure how it would it’s great, not loud and it works great. We vented to the outside works great!

We purchased this hood along with a new gas cooktop. The Bluetooth feature is pretty nice, although it seemed a bit silly. I do like how the fan comes on whenever a burner is lit. The lights are nice and bright, but not harsh.

This hood, by all accounts should cost half as much. Other similarly styled hoods with similar specs (cfm, etc) cost ~400. The only additional feature or spec is the gimmicky bluetooth connectivity which simply turns the fan on automatically when the stove turns on. We intended to mount this hood such that it vents out the back. No one at best buy, nor the 3rd party installer realized that this hood requires an adapter kit to vent out the rear. So, despite having had someone from the 3rd party come out ahead of time, the installers showed up without this part (I blame both companies) and so it could not be installed. The kit allows you to reposition the motor inside. Further, the installers tell me that unlike most every hood out there, this one vents out of the middle of the back, instead of closer to the top. Probably a difference of 4-6". Since we are replacing an existing hood and not doing a total gut of our kitchen, the vent duct and the hole in the hood do not line up. Best Buy still has not reached out to remedy the situation that happened 4 days ago. I plan on returning this hood and purchasing one that costs less, performs the same, and uses a more standard vent location.

Works well, great looks, spendy. Was only decent hood we could find in Black SS. Can synch with stove top to turn on and off

Looks really nice, works great. I like the overhead lights as well. I would definitely purchase this again if needed.

I finally got it installed and it looks great and works even better. The lowest setting is pretty quiet and suction is great.

The hood with the cooktop on looks great in my kitchen. The SmartThings app is a great way to connect and use this product. It’s quieter and more efficient than my older range hood

Have been operating his hood for about a month. It seems to be performing excellent and I love the features like it connecting with our cooktop so the fan comes on when a burner does. Great design and simple operation.

This thing has great power to exhaust smoke from our new Samsung Range. Definitely happy we got this to match up with our Samsung Duo Range.
