Customers are saying

Customers find value in the quiet operation, excellent cleaning performance, and ease of use of this washing machine. The large capacity is also frequently praised, accommodating even king-sized comforters. While some users noted the spin cycle could be improved, the overall positive feedback highlights the machine's many beneficial features. A minor concern was raised regarding the door's tendency to slam shut.

Washer is very efficient with water usage and is very quiet when in use. I still haven't figured out the correct amount of detergent to use; no matter what size load is put in, all the detergent is used from the compartment. I have heard that the machine can smell after many washings, we keep the door open when not is use and do not have a problem. I used to love the little song that played when the laundry was done, I don't hear it anymore; my husband must have shut it off.

I purchased this washer from the floor sample at best buy. I got it a deeply discounted price, and I love it. This washer is very quiet when operating, and it can handle large loads of clothing with ease. At the end of the washing cycle, it plays a nice musical tune to let you know your cloths are finished. It has several different wash cycles and an optional steam wash capability , if desired.

Great on whites, same old HE mediocrity elsewhere!

I replaced a 10 year old Whirlpool Calypso with this Samsung front loader. I am one of the rare few who not once had to file a claim, or, service call on the Calypso. It never got dirty clothes clean, even with liberal amounts of Resolve or Spraynwash. I was ready to buy a new SPEEDQUEEN top loader. I was visiting the JD Power site to view a different topic, and for giggles searched washers, that led me to this purchase, combined with Labor Day incentives. Easy to set up, if you read the instructions (I am confident that every online comment discussing vibration/early failure on this model failed to do so, and left the shipping bolts in place). Still keep manual handy, as it has more functions than I will ever use. Outstanding job on whites, especially when Steam function is added; ten years since I saw white clean sheets. But, my high hopes that Powerfoam technology would resolve work clothes issue was dashed! Even extended wash cycles, pre-wash cycles, and a dose of Resolve/Spraynwash gave same mediocre performance as its HE predecessor. In fact, the only time it flashed SUDS, was the one time I sprayed pre-treatments. It cleaned itself out in about 3.5 hours without issue, and runs perfectly. Oh, it takes its sweet time on any and all cycles, not an issue for me, but, do not expect an emergency wash load to be ready before work/outing/visitors etc...... My old Calypso had a maximum run time of 76 minutes, the first load in the Samsung flashed 2:14 when I hit the Start button, I thought it was a code; nope, two hours, fourteen minutes of run time (unless it thinks you added too many detergents). Also, the exact model I purchased was available at every other big box store, BB had the best deal; however, every floor model at every store I visited, the unit carried a manufactured in Korea assembly sticker, the unit shipped to me, CHINA. IF I had it to do over, I would buy the SPEEDQUEEN toploader with good old agitator, same money, and made in Wisconsin! If this washer dies before me, it will be a SPEEDQUEEN next time!

I got this machine on labor day sale last month for a great deal and so far so good. It is incredibly quiet with lots of options (probably more cycles than any human being could ever need). It also holds lots of towels, etc. It's great looking and so far I'm really happy with it!

I had a Samsung washer before which died after a year so I had to replace its main part out of my pocket. So I was a little skeptical about Samsung washers. But I ended up buying this one because it had advanced features (steam cycles) and was on sale. So far so good! It's quiet. Does the job well. Aesthetically pleasing. Very happy about my purchase.

We bought a new Samsung Washer and Dryer to replace our 10+ year old Whirlpool Duet front load machines. The Samsung set is so quiet, efficient and the laundry comes out so clean! I washed our king sized down comforter and it came out looking brand new. It's been effortless to use and they look awesome in the laundry room too!

It's been a good washer so far. Nothing to complain about. It doesn't shake near as much as our old whirlpool duets did. works perfect in the room we have it in. It washes the clothes, we have had no issues yet of it not doing what its supposed to do, and thats clean clothes without ruining them. it does that.

For high efficiency washer this one in particular was worth the investment. It's not loud, easy to use and the end cycle signal is pretty cool. The design is pretty good to. Not to big, small or takes a lot of space. It has the right amount of cycles needed to get the majority of the work done.

Don't know why I spent the money to get a 15-cycle washer when I just basically throw everything in at once and hit start, but I am a huge fan of Samsung because they always make great quality and well designed devices and appliances. Decent price considering the cost of any washer from any other competitor. CANNOT STAND the musical nonsense that plays when the cycle is finished, quickly disabled that feature. My Samsung television did the same thing when the power button was pressed. Haven't quite figured out all the options but won't use them much anyway. Nice to know though that they are there when I do decide to clean my work uniforms or when my military gear gets soiled with mud or god knows what else.

Love my washer and dryer and wouldn't have gotten them had it not been for the service received when 'just looking' at Best Buy. On top of that, the service reps went above and beyond to get the additonal dryer rack when it never came as originally promised. Would definitely recommend the front load system from Samsung to anyone interested.

My GE Washer and dryer were over twenty years old when the washer finally quit. I bought the Samsung pair as replacements. These machines are so much quieter, Clean so much better, and use so much less water and energy that I regret not doing it sooner. All of our clothes look better than they ever did with the old machines and we can wash our down duvets with these machines. Fantastic all around.

My old front loader was starting to leak; I always wanted a nice matching set. My husband wanted the platinum color but at 200$ more I said let's do white. Best but had this open box for 599$ great deal and another had the matchiing dryer for $699 open box. 24 months 0% yes plz. I do laundry about everyday. I just love how quick and easy it seems. We are on the hunt for pediatals though as it does get tiring bending over so fat. Best washer and dryer ever owned

I researched and compared many different brands before deciding to purchase this model. I chose it because it has all the features I could ever want/need in a clothes washer. It's actually kind of fun to watch the machine, during the spin cycle. Movement from side to side was no more than one inch, and only at the very beginning (as the machine balances the load). Once it reaches high speed, there is no outer movement, no noise, nothing that would tell you how hard it's working. The "stain away' cycle isn't kidding! I was concerned, three days after installation, when the machine stopped and flashed error message OE, which indicates a water level higher than safe limits; but I believe this to be the result of the installers mounting the drain hose higher than the top of the machine . Powering the machine back on and restarting the cycle, without adding detergent, resulted in a completed cycle ... and no errors. This happened, again, a couple of days later; but following the same procedure as the first time had the same results. (I will be calling Samsung to verify my theory about the drain hose, as I wouldn't want to render the warranty non-applicable.
